yes, basically any USB keyboard is compatible with wii, just plug it in the USB on the Wii and then type away whenever you could normally use the wii remote to "type"

Yes you can. Just update your Wii to version 3. Right now, it's version 3.3. You can use any USB keyboards to send messages and for browsing on the web.

Not anymore, Logitech have a Keyboard for Wii made specifically with buttons that perform Wii Remote functions,. It should be out on Amazon very soon now.

Go to internet options i think it is?

And there is update. It's in the settings somewhere. On mine it does it automaticly.

And yeah, i use a keyboard for it. Nintendo is making there own, but it will proabably be overpriced.

Yes, and there are even some keyboard shortcuts in the browser:
Alt + Enter = "OK" in the keyboard screen.
Alt + Backspace = "Quit" in the keyboard screen.
Up/down/left/right arrow = scroll in that direction.
+ key (either) = zoom in.
- key (either) = zoom out.
Backspace OR Ctrl + left arrow = previous page.
Ctrl + right arrow = next page.

I've used my wireless keyboard with my Wii, no prob. As long as its plug and play, it doesn't usually make a difference.

Oh, but if its a bluetooth keyboard then it won't work because the Wii won't recognize the BT dongle (and the Wii can't sync directly either).
