im just wonderin if u can hook up an mp3 player into the usb ports on the bac of the Wii and play some music? that would be boss if u could

You can play music in the photo channel if you store it on an SD card. If you didn't download the latest update, you must play MP3, if you did you must play AAC.

The photo channel does do that. Just don't update the Wii because the last version of the photo channel doesn't read the mp3 only the AAC files. All you need is a SD card to stock your music and you play them on the channel.

I heard there's alsoWinamp that you can use.I read that on GoNintendo. Just go on thewinamp website and read what itsays about that.

I found what I mean about Winamp on Wii. It's called Winamp remote. You can stream your music from your PC and goes to the Wii.

No, you can't go back.

Yes you can:
Go to Data Management -> Channels -> Delete Photo Channel. It will go back to 1.0
You can update and downgrade as many times as you want.

If you've bought your Wii before Dec. 2007 you'll be able to downgrade, if you bought it in Dec., you won't.
