Well, I am, but I may not get the benefits because I don't have Wi-Fi. =(

The press release never said anything about Club Nintendo.

There would be a lot of angry Nintendo fans if that was the case. There's no Club Nintendo in Finland for example. Visiting the eShop is supposed to be enough.
Edit: I don't know if this has been posted already but here goes: Nes Games on 3DS Will Offer Multiplayer
I am, because I linked to the eshop, but nintendo should at least give us notification telling us. I've been connecting to eshop like I have OCD every hour to make sure.
I'm looking foward to streetpass tags as well. I've had my 3ds since April and I've had 0 tags.Yes i am, and i'm also happy with the price cut, because now more people will buy the system and i can look forward to having more streetpasses and hopefully more interest by 3rd party Developers

I bought mine 2 days after the release and I had 0 as well.
I think I'm the only guy in Pakistan to have a 3DS, because I was at a hotel recently with so many obscenely rich people and I still had 0 tags.

yeah its kindaawkward to visit that shop, and no notification that i'm an Ambassador
Yes, and I prefer it this way because I got OoT for $10 when I bought 3DS + I would've bought many of the games listed through VC anyway.
Not to mention I got to experience the system already and had lots of fun + GBA games are apparently exclusive to us until they start to sell them.
Maybe it sounds like damage control but I genuinely prefer this way :P
Why would I want to be an Ambassador?! They all pay for over-priced things!ZumaJones07Why would i want o be an Ambassador? Dude you will get not 5, not 10, but 20 games, oh! and whe early adopters already received Ecite Bike 3D for free which makes it 21 games. 10 are NES games, sure they are old but they are still games. The best part are the other 10 which are GBA titles, these will be exclusive to the Ambassadors. Anyway having these 20 games in your 3DS will add more value to it and more fun to you. I am almost sure that if someone want's to sell its 3DS they can easily get almost $250 by offering it with all these built-in games. It will be like having a limited edition System.
I thought just by visiting the Eshop, where did you read about linking to CN? Because I gave away my codeeither way it works but ya know if u want get points for club nintendo might as well I was worried when I read you had to connect your 3DS to club nintendo. My 3DS package came without a registration code.[QUOTE="DealRogers"][QUOTE="tiopuit"]If you linked your 3ds to club nintendo before August 12th youre in and as of september 1st there will be 10 free NES games avalable to you and as far as GBA theyll be 10 of them beore the end of the year too but no exact date

I'm not convinced the 20 games are a good deal yet. I dont think it equals that 80 dollars yet. And I dont think GameStop will allow me to return my system to get a refund. I should have bought my systemat Costco or Target. Ugh, my laziness to research a good deal or place with good refund policy.
The selection for the 10 GPA Games would have to be a good selection. Like one of the Pokemon games or possibley some newer GPA games like maybe a Golden Sun.
And I dont even have any games for my system yet because they all come out later this year.
Take it easy my friend! We're talking about 20 quality games specially the GBA ones. This will add more value to your 3DS. I bet that if you want to sell the system down the road you could easily get back almost $250. I don't know about you but people that bought it during the first update received a free Excite Bike 3D game that's 21 games.I'm not convinced the 20 games are a good deal yet. Ambassador. The price cut does not bother me. The 3DS was not an impulse buy. If I did not want to spend $250 on it I would not have. Other people getting it for less has no impact on me.
The 20 free games is a nice gesture by Nintendo but they did not have to do it. As it is, of the games announced, the only one I am excited about is Metroid Fusion. Looking forward to that.
same here. i did not buy a 3DS for "teh 3D effectz.", i bought it to play good Nintendo quality games.Ambassador. The price cut does not bother me. The 3DS was not an impulse buy. If I did not want to spend $250 on it I would not have. Other people getting it for less has no impact on me.

I think I'm an ambassador, because I got my 3DS at the North American Launch and registered mine at the same day too. Plus I linked my Club Nintendo account to my eShop account right when it came out too. But I never got a notification so I dunno if I'm an ambassador or not. Guess I'll have to visit the eShop every day lol XDAwesomeKennyI'm in the exact same situation. I'm sure Nintendo will give more details or offer a way to notify you if you're an Ambassador.
I suppose that I am. It's a nice bonus, I'll be looking forward to the free games. I originally got mine just so I can replace my broken DS Lite.
It looks like I will be. I was trying to sell my 3DS, but the price drop is screwing me over. I'm already upset about being screwed out of $80. I don't want to lose even more money on the deal. Maybe once the 10 exclusive games come out, I can sell it for a higher price again.
