I'm thinking about getting Kirby Super Star Ultra but I feel a little embarrassed cause I'm not not sure if I'm a little too old for it? I'm 19 and I enjoy platformers like Mario and Sonic.
My dad was 40 yrs old when he played the old mario games with me years ago,and up till now,he's still playing smash bro so i guess age shouldn't be an issue when u really like something,even if it maybe a little childish.

Totally fourthing this. Why deny yourself the gaming excellence that is Kirby just because of the sheer lightheartedness and whatnot? (Heck, it could even be said that no one's too old to enjoy a certain other Nintendo franchise, so long as they retain focus on the games and not the anime or whatnot...)
Well, I say that you should go ahead and get it if you want, but don't go telling everyone if you're that self-conscious. I know I'd be the laughing stock of the school if I told anyone but my close friends that I had Pokemon. And just so you know, I've only played KSSU for a little less than an hour and I'm already at 22%. It's incredibly short.
I'm 21 and I still play Kirby games. I just bought KSSU last week at best buy and I proudly defended my purchase when the cashier asks why i bought it. Don't be ashamed in buying a video game....just enjoy it.
Dude, I'm 25 and I still bust out Kirby every once in a while. I need to get the new Kirby game though. I bought a used copy of Kirby Canvas Curse and when the cashier was asking why I was buying such a kiddy game I just told him "Because I want it!"
I would so laugh right in your face if I saw a 19 year old buy a Kirby game! Haha, as I carry out my Pokemon and Nintendogs games...I don't think you are ever to old for games. Well, Spice Girls for the PS1 might be a different story.

You are never to old to play a game that you had enjoy and still do.
I will definately agree with all of those on here that said to buy and play whatever games you enjoy without worrying about age. That being said, there is a possible concern, and that might be if a game is geared too easily, making it a short/unfufilling experience. I'm not saying that is the case with this game (I haven't played it) but I have had it with a few games.
A game was ment to kill time and entertain the person playing it. You don't have to be embarrassed. My dad plays gamecube once a while, and my firends mom plays pokemon Xd: Gale of Darkness. Why do they play 'em? To kill time and have fun. You have nothing to be ashamed of.
You are never too old for a game as long as you enjoy playing it and like the game. Dont let anyone tell you that you're too old or anytin. Buy kirby if u lyk it.
