Can't buy games on my android. Why?

I have a 4g epic android phone and I am currently trying to buy some games for it on the app store but I keep getting an error telling me to try again. I can download free apps just fine but not paid ones. Can anyone suggest any solutions or explanations?

What does it say exactly? Just a simple "can't purchase at this time" message, or is there more to it?

It just says "An error occurred. Please try again." It's never been different.

I'm currently trying to do that. It's been stuck on the loading screen for the past 5 minutes now. I'm starting to think it might have to do with the my google account being a university account that uses g+.

Yea my university account doesn't use google wallet that might explain it.

Does anyone know how to switch what account is associated with my google play?
