I'm just echoing everyone else here: Great Little War Game and Gameboid w/ Fire Emblem. If you're running a tablet, check out Battle for Wesnoth (it has a demo), a fantasy turn-based strategy game with nice lengthy battles, though I found it was too compact for my phone. It's free on PC and like $3 on Android. Your best bet for more strategy would be tower defense games. Buckets of great ones on the market.

Battle for wesnoth is a must play, if you have a pc at least. Touch screen would still work but more of a pain. easily a good 25 hours of gameplay.
