Yeah, I actually never finished the first, still want the 2nd though. I just found it incredibly irritating to go:

SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT -> Platforming scene the length of like a load screen -> SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT.

I hear the 2nd is a lot better, but its still like $40 at cheapest at canadian stores, $30 is closer to my sweet spot. :P

ND knows they have to make a perfect game to follow up Uncharted 2. I'm happy they put some time inbetween the games instead of just pushing one out for this year.

Maybe there's a gunfight sequence when you're killing enemies while riding camels who have jetpacks.

Nah seriously though, UC2 was an awesome game, i'm just making fun of the ridiculous levels of hyperbole that surrounds the game.

Let's not forget random arabian friend (who you think is a dude but removes some sort of vaguely arabian head cover to reveal he is actually a she!) who is a descendent of the remaining guardians of the horror that is in the temple.

As for the bolded, though, I heavily disagree. While there's nothing wrong with cinematics and the like, games should not try to be movies. Games should be games. Imitating another form of media won't help the medium evolve.
