When you go to play a game, how did you get it? Did you buy it, rent it, borrow it? Do you have a huge collection or a great hook up?

I don't remember the last time I rented or borrowed a game. I usually buy them during sales, months or years after they were released, because they're usually extremely cheap.

I use to rent games but ever since last gen I've strictly become a buy only gamer. I now have a sizable collection and I love it.

I primarily buy games in order to play them, but borrowing them is also an option as a relative of mine plays games, too.

Always Buy. I don't think I've ever rented a game.

I usually buy 1-2 games a year at full price, rent probably 4-5 a year, and buy 2-3 a year when they get under $30. I personally don't think most games nowadays are worth $60 unless it's something like Fallout, Skyrim, The Witcher etc.. where you can easily sink 200 hours doing everything or a game with really good and addictive multiplayer.

industry has done superb job killing all other options so; buy.

you often need account tied to the game key, so there's not much borrowing or renting. last time i saw game rentals here was 16-bit era (SNES, Megadrive).

I tend to buy games.

I have this odd discomfort playing something I do not own, the notion of a possible time limit on how long I can play it, annoys me.

BUY BUY BUY.

We don't have any reasonable (if any at all) trade / used / rent service in Israel.

I don't pirate as well, and proud of that. I support the developers.

So yeah, I buy my games all the time, and buy new ones.
Besides, I rather own my games, add them to my collection. I don't think I would be happy about returning a game I enjoyed.

Buy, trade in the ones I don't care for and keep the ones I love. Every once in a while I'll borrow a game from a friend.

Depends, sometimes I borrow....

If the game isn't good enough to buy I will probably skip it entirely.
