"Iron Aces", "Maken X", and a back-to-back tie with "Godzilla: Generations" & "Godzilla: Generations Maximum Impact" (Greatest "Biolante" appearance - Perhaps the ONLY appearance - In a video game EVER!)
:)
Honorable mention for "Unreal Tournament", "AeroWings", and "Air Force DELTA".
it would be quite hard to decide but Shenmue 2 , Dead Or Alive 2 , Virtua Fighter 3 , and the Resident Evil games are some of my favourites.
is there any major difference between the gameplay of MvcC2 and the original MvsC? Im asking because I find MvsC2 to be pretty iffy compared to the older Saturn Vs games, so Im wondering if MvsC1 is any better.Emerald_Warrior
- Resident Evil: Code Veronica
- Marvel vs. Capcom
- Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm (I know, I shouldn't love it, but I do)
Yeah, there is. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 has a lot going on on the screen in comparison. There's a lot flashy, bright, colorful, screen engulfing moves in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. There are in the 1st one too, but there seems to be so many more of these power moves and tag-moves in the 2nd one. That's why I personally prefer the 1st one. There's still some fighting game skill required to be good at it, while the 2nd is cheap because as long as you have these power and tag-moves available you've got a cheap win up your sleeve.
seems like its more of a step in the direction of the Saturn Vs games. maybe that means its actually less of a button masher then MvsC2 (and MvsC3) was.Yeah, there is. I love that game too. But dang does it get hard as it goes on. I don't know, something about first-person, non-gun combat really appeals to me because I'm a HUGE fan of the King's Field and Elder Scrolls games too.

Ahhhh "King's Field". Ye bring a tear to this ol' man's eye, lad!
*sniffle*
The hours I spent on that series. The bland graphics, the muted color palatte, the rediculously addictive wonderful mezmerizing drug of code jammed onto a disc. It was Heaven. Slow-paced takes-forever-to-cross-the-map backtracking exercize from Hell-Heaven. Aaaaand we LOVED it. Yes, they really got something right with the hand-to-hand, bladed weapons combat on "King's Field", and they also hit the right stride with "Maken X" (as teeth-gnashingly difficult as that one got, I will agree!)
It kind of makes me wonder why more folks in the biz can't find it for their games with a similar mechanic... Although I will say that "Condemned II: Bloodshot" feels pretty good, so I guess the target hasn't been totally missed since, or recently, but "Maken X" hit it squarely out of the park.
After all this talk, I think I just gotta go hook my Dreamcast up and play the game again.
;)
hard to say as I've played and own(ed) about all of them
1: shenmue 2 (best videogame of all time, way better even than shenmue 1)
2: rush 2049 (best multiplayer game of all time, words can't describe how awesome this still is)
3: tokyo highway challenge 2 (most fun and time I ever spent on a racing game, this game is also one of the most rewarding games I ever played. some weeks ago I finally beat the game after hundreds of hours and I could only smile for the rest of the day)
I'm guessing you meant Shenmue 2 is your favorite game of all time, and Rush 2049 is your favorite multiplayer game of all time?1: shenmue 2 (best videogame of all time, way better even than shenmue 1)

what improvements are there between the first and 2nd Crazy Taxi games?1) Jet Grind Radio
2) The King of Fighters Dream Match '99
3) Crazy Taxi 2
There are a lot more I could choose from, but I think these three are good. To me, that's a testament to how great the Dreamcast was.

[QUOTE="SonicX_89"]what improvements are there between the first and 2nd Crazy Taxi games? It has been a while since I've played either, but the the second game had two cities instead of one, new minigames, and a new feature where your taxi could jump all over the city like a demented rabbit. It also had new taxi drivers and a new soundtrack.1) Jet Grind Radio
