Your favorite series

What's your favorite game series, call of duty, Halo, GTA, Fable, L4D, gran turismo, final fantasy, resident evil, skate, half life, gutair hero/rockband, anything just post it and why you like that series the most.

My favorite is probly MOH and COD

Medal of honor rising sun was probly the best game for PS2 because of the fact it had some multiplayer where you could pick enimies 2 face and all that.

COD because A. first game i ever got for PS2 was COD frontlines, B. it just has so many good choices and features and great online play

Devil May Cry: Great gameplay, style was cool and fun. Story wasn't horrible, it was just a jumbles mess. New one looks horrible, and no, it's not because of the hair.

Dead Rising: Although I liked the first one better than the second, the series looks like it is going to go into a great direction with case west.

I think I may have to pick Metroid.

Super Metroid is among my top-3 most favourite games ever, and the rest of the series (aside from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Metroid Prime: Hunters and Metroid II: Return of Samus) are absolutely fantastic games (and this includes Metroid: Other M). Granted, those three I mentioned are not "bad" games, they just aren't up to the level of the rest of the series. They are still very enjoyable in their own right, they just (especially in Hunters' case) tarnish the series a little.

I do like other series', but Metroid stands out in my mind as the "greatest" among the greats. And Other M is really shaping up to be an excellent game. It has a few rough edges, but the overall package is fantastic. And the fan service (particularly Ridley) is exceptionally great.

I think the only series I ever followed closely was the Metal Gear Solid series and the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series.

No he said COD Frontlines. There is no such game by that name. There is MOH Frontlines though. (He did say rising sun but nobody was talking about it).

Diablo, due to massive amounts of customization and the fact that I poured in WAAAAY too many hours into Diablo II. Diablo III is my most anticipated game right now, of course!

Now if you do not consider 2 games out being a series and such, then the second obvious answer is The Legend of Zelda.

im gonna have to go with diablo as well....simply because there is no game that i have put so much time into, and there was never a time that i got bored with it. unlike most other games i have put a lot of time into, im actually looking forward to the next release.
