Why am I so scarred of Games?

Iam scarred in not only horror games but also games like metro exodus or destiny 2 with super little horror elements. This really annoys me because it makes the games with the smallest scary things in them, which are a lot, really hard for me to play because this state of being scarred is really stress full so I hop on the game for like 30 - 60 min and then i have enough. Do u think there is a way for me to overcome this unnecessary fear or am I just a huge pus*y.

Only played a small section of the original Metro but it certainly has sections that replicate a tone of Survival Horror, from a visual perspective anyway.

Survival Horror however is a personal pleasure of mine for gaming so I never miss out on a good horror game, though am less interested in the Stealth Horror genre, I've given them a go a few times and am personally disinterested in those games.
