Edit: Is the GBA or DS considered last-gen - not that I own a DS, just wondering.
Edit 2: I owned (and still own an NES and a Sega Genesis (model 2) during last-gen - even if they aren't from that generation.

All I can remember, never had a dreamcast but I played it over at an aunts house. I got my first SNES when ALTTP came out, it was a nice bundle pack, wish I still had the box.
Combined with my bro, last gen we had the ps1, ps2, xbox, gamecube, gameboy color, gameboy advance, and Gameboy SP, and a PC.MythomniacPS1 and Game Boy Color are fifth generation. That was two generations ago.
So you owned a Neo Geo Pocket Color, Wonderswan Color, Dreamcast, and N-Gage?All of them, lol. But my PS2 died :(

I still play my dreamcast from time to time and the virtual pet style memory card still works too.I have owned alot of systems in 22 years of gaming. Alot stunk and some were great. The n-gage was one of the worst flops ever if you ask me. Aside from the virtual boy and jaguar cd and cdi
Not the point. It was a last generation system whether you liked it or not.The n-gage was one of the worst flops ever if you ask me. Aside from the virtual boy and jaguar cd and cdi

You said you owned all last generation platforms. If you didn't own an N-Gage or Wonderswan Color, then you're wrong. It's not a matter of opinion.I didnt say it was or wasnt last gen. Either way your opinions are your own as are mine.

Why are you putting words in my mouth. Saying I didnt own them. I know what I owned and I am going to leave it at that. You left out the swan crystal. If that is the case, then no, i didnt own that one. I like to play games instead of trying to figure out japanese kanji personally. Its like saying I own an odyssey, but dont have the overlays for the tv.
Who cares, this is a pointless argument, and I am done with it.
Topic: What systems did you own last generation? You: All of them Me: What about these systems? You: *insulting comments about said systems* I didn't put words into your mouth. Savebattery: You seem to be very defensive about "systems".
You have an opinion on what a "system" is and whether it was released in the last hardware generation, that's fine.
When I hear someone say "I own all of them" - I would have an opinion and might assume they mean the 3 main, biggest-selling 'console' systems - PS2, GameCube and Xbox.
I owned those, along with other systems - handheld/portable, console, and a PC - but I don't start attacking someone who says "all" but maybe only means they had those 3. It's a common idea that those 3 systems (usually excluding the Sega DreamCast) are what many consider last-gen, because to many, they defined last-gen hardware.
- There are also many that say the Nintendo Wii is last-gen, because of it's hardware capabilities, but I don't agree.
Arguments can be made for and against the inclusion of portable/handheld systems and personal computers when discussing video game "systems". Besides, there were several other people who posted "all of them" and I didn't see you trying to argue with those other people - you seemed to just go after a single poster.
