I have the Xbox version, and was thinking of getting the Japanese version for my J-PS2. Does anyone know which home console version is the most arcade-perfect, and which one has the quickest loading time? I've looked up videos on the Third Strike for PS2 (they didn't specify whether it was the J-PS2 version or not), and it looked like it had a faster loading time than my Xbox version. Thanks.
Xbox & PS2 are the best versions in terms of gameplay.
Loading time is the same in both JPN & US PS2 versions. I haven't played the Xbox version in a long time but I don't think there's that much difference between the Xbox & PS2 versions.
Why would anybody care about loading times in this game, anyway? It only takes a few seconds to load before each match. It's not like in NGBC where it takes around 30 secs to load before the match starts. If you really care that much about loading times, get a modded Xbox/PS2 and copy the game to the hard drive.
