When you look back what game did you enjoy the experience more then any others that you know that it can't be ever topped?

Mine has to be going to the arcades in the Spring of 94 and playing Mortal Kombat 2. What made it so enjoyable was seeing how much of a major improvement it was over the first game in everyway. Going to arcade with my cousin and trying to do fatalities from a cheat sheet was so fun. I was never so hyped to play a game in my life nothing beats that time in enjoyment factor then. That whole Summer waiting for the Snes port in September was crazy I was obsessed with that game still one of my all time favs.

ahhh.. those Arcade days.

I love gaming more than ever, but I have great nostalgia for gaming during my high school days. The time I spent on Gamecube and Xbox back in those days still brings a big smile to my face. Great times.

It's a cop-out answer but probably have too many. Tend to get a lot of excitement related to gaming. Will try and give some examples-

  • My first session with Tekken Tag Tournament in the arcades. Made me see a different perspective.
  • Tons of coop experiences with a lot of games, playing with people I love.
  • Most times a new game announcement that gapes me.
  • And most certainly when playing a great game for the first time ticking all the boxes I want it too.

Nothing like it really. Feels good.

The night I hooked up Xbox Live and played Rainbow Six 3 and Ghost Recon till the sun came up.

Also the night WoW Burning Crusade launched. Such a good expansion up until Black Temple. Oh, and the Ahn Quraj gate opening event.

My first time ever playing Street Fighter 2 when it was only in the arcades, changed my life forever, literally.

I mean, I definitely look back at my childhood with fond memories. (Especially playing the PS2 & most of the Nintendo systems out around that time as well.) But, I think I enjoy gaming a little less as a whole, but, appreciate it more for different reasons? One thing that I miss is that, being that myself and close friends have pretty much all grown up, it means that there's less of the Couch Co-Op fun that we used to have. It's pretty much inevitable though.

Why do I appreciate gaming more? Well, it's probably to do with the "wind down" it brings me.

To properly answer the question though, I'd say some of my fondest memories with gaming were experiencing classic games later on, and still falling in love with them. OoT, FFVII to name a couple. I guess with games like these, you can either love them or just find them okay playing them both as a young adult. I just feel as if I can appreciate them both so much more than if I were to play them as a kid. (That goes for most games I play these days.) I'm glad that my love for JRPG's started young too. :P

Got loads from over the years, but one springs to mind.

Dead Space. Around the time my daughter was born. So with work, and looking after her I didn't have much free time. So when DS came out, I found the only time I could play it was when the house was in total silence & darkness. Which turned out to be priceless! Loved that experience.

Probably playing with my bud. I miss that, he has a wife and kids now and a serious job, which is fine and all. We still hang out but he has absolutely zero time for any sort of play.

We met in college and both played Diablo 2 for like five years. When I finally took the plunge and got WoW, I talked him into it and we both played the hell out of it too.

I say in the past years for me. Because I'm much better at games and because the games are much better. Tittle such as Mad Max and Batman Arkham Knight.

Playing Nintendo classics for the first time, such as Super Mario Bros. 3, Mario 64, Zelda: ALttP, Zelda: OoT, Zelda: WW. Also kicking my friends asses in Mario Kart: DD, Soul Calibur 2 and Smash Bros. Melee on GameCube. We played a shitload of those. Good times.

The entire floor of my dorm chose a team in Tecmo Superbowl leading up to finals. We played a whole season during finals week to blow off steam and it was kind of terrific.

Spending a large chunk of the summer holiday playing Monkey Island with my best mate in 1993 (Amiga 500). Finally put the flag in the cauldron so we could get off the ship after a tough ten days. No walk throughs back then!
