The Doom 1 & 2 scared the bejesus out of me when I was young. More recently Doom3 freaked me out pretty good. All in all only the Doom games have been able to scare me.

Huh... I don't know... it is tough to strike that chord with me in a videogame but I can tell you the movie 300 was creepy.

i haven't played too many scary video games, but I'd have to say that Resident Evil 4 was the creepiest. I expect Resident Evil 5 to have some creepy feel to it as well.

I don't play games from the survival horror genre. But even regular games have their moments. Some creepy games that come to mind are Doom, Diablo, Half-Life 2, KOTOR, Oblivion, Quake 4...just about any game in which you have to fight monsters seems to have its creepy moments. Heck, even Super Mario 64 had the Boo level. The music made it creepy. That and the piano that starts chomping at you.

I didn't play many games in the past, but Halo was pretty freaky with the Flood in all three games.

I make sure not to play horror/survival games because those kind of games are too real to me and I'm the type who will avert my eyes from the screen when I think a scary scene is coming up, so I can't imagine I would have much success in the video game world when fighting monsters.

The only games I really consider scary are the Fatal Frame games. I play them at night time, with a 5.1 dolby digital surround sound stereo system. So it can get really creepy, because you hear noise in all directions of your house, depending on were your speakers are located :P

Fatal Frame is the scariest thing since sliced bread. In fact, I think it might be even scarier than sliced bread, if that's possible.

Doom never really scared me as a kid except when you could hear those stupid things breathing and couldn't find them.

Resident evil was horrifying to me when i was younger and now F.E.A.R. scares the bejesus out of me and im older along with condemned is pretty freaky as well. I still wont play either of them in the dark even though that is the best way to get the full effect ill jump out of the room haha.

Man, just like last time when we had a topic like this... I can't believe no one has said Eternal Darkness. Games don't creep me out much, like ever. No RE did, Fear didn't. Eternal Darkness made me "shat brix" as the saying goes.

You meant to say "creepiest" or "most creepy". "Most creepiest" is ungrammatical. To answer the question, the most creepy game I've played is Fatal Frame II.

Half Life 2 made me jump a couple times (espacially the head crabs when they hide in the corners). But then again, I don't play many scary games.

I have several. I am a huge Resident Evil fanatic and the RE games, always creep me out. When I was playing RE4, I would go to sleep everynight, when the

sun came up, that's how scared I was. Same deal with Doom 3

The earlier Doom games were scary as hell. Alien vs. Predator scared the **** out of me, when I was a kid.

FEAR wasn't too scary but Condemned definitely is and Eternal Darakness is scary as hell.

When you're hilucinating and you hear the sound of that woman being murderd, that still scares the crap out of me.

Oh and I also must admit Half-Life 2, which really creepy me out once you got to that one level, with all of the

****ed up monsters. I also should note Quake one & two, those games freaked me out.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, System Shock 2 and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. I'd say all three are far creepier than they are scary or disturbing.

REmake stands as the scariest game I've played. Condemned, from what little I've played of it thus far (just got it yesterday) is also a pretty creepy game.

While the Silent Hill series certainly has a creepy atmosphere it has never scared me. Dead Space had a few good scary moments but otherwise didn't do much for me. RE4....I can't understand how people find that game scary or creepy at all (probably the same people who got scared playing the flood levels in the Halo series, the cave levels in GeoW, and L4D...you know, people who get easily scared whenever they play a dark level with a lot of enemies). The other REs were pretty creepy but none spooked me out like REmake did (and when I really think about it only RE2 and maybe RE0 truly creepied me out...and even then only as a kid).

I don't know whether i would call it creepy but Metal Gear Solid 1 was extremely intense and for ages I couldn't figure out why I didn't want to play it. Once I figured it out I could finally enjoy the game. Also, technically Snake is the 'creepiest' character ever in a game in that he creeps everywhere, Chortle Chortle Chortle! Dead Space is the most traditionally creepy game I have played. Issac's pain-induced wheezing creeps me out alot!

Fatal Frame II. I'm on my second playthrough and it's still very terrifying. That's really rare for a survival horror game. Usually, you play through the main game and any alternate scenarios then the games appeal drops significantly. The first chapter does a great job of creating suspense using creepy audio and journal entries so it's about 30 minutes before you fight your very first ghost and you're terrified. Great game.
