Mine wasn't for PC. Here's a shot of it.
Scooby-Doo Mysteries for Genesis (different than the SNES version). Anyone else ever play this one? Also, what was your first? :)

I meant any Monkey Island game. They're not all prefixed by "The Secret of" :PI believe it actually was Secret Of Monkey Island. ;)

it was the longest journey.
honestly, i wasn't really a big fan and never ended up finishing it. maybe it comes together later, but i didn't feel any real connection between the story and me piecing together non-conductive fishing rods.

Yes, I know. I meant my first point'n'click was Secret of Monkey Island. :)
Sorry for the confusion. :P
The first one that I remember playing was Day of the Tentacle, which my cousin introduced to me to back in the late 90's, although I didn't actually get to complete it until 2002 when I bought a combined DOTT and Sam & Max: Hit the Road combined CD-ROM for £10.
I was going to say King's Quest, but it wasn't point and click style until what King's Quest V or VI? I can't remember. It was definitely one of the Quest games from Sierra though. They started as text based for interactions and arrow keys for movement. I don't remember the first one I played that was a proper point and click. F*cking loved all of the Sierra adventure games. So good.rragnaar
Well I'm getting older, and the mechanics of the games are sort of lost on me now...lol. I'll go with whichever King's Quest was the first point and click then. I think it may have been KQ5 after all. I do remember that it was the first adventure game I played with a mouse. Just like I remember that 7th Guest was the whole reason I bought a CD-ROM for my PC.Â
Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure. I bought it because I thought it was a rhythm game. I do not do point and click. It turned out to be an alright game though.
How much wood would a woochuck chuck????? Monkey Island baby!!!!!!Fat_Boy_PT
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck had a chainsaw? ;P
My dad got me a CD-ROM drive for my PC back when they were really new (it was one of those old drives where you had to use a caddy), and it came with the CD-ROM version of The Secret of Monkey Island. I remember having a really hard time with the puzzles back when I was a kid. :P
I think it is a game called Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom for the NES. For the PC, it would be Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
Not sure. My first encounter with a point and click was probably Return to Zork (I never owned it though). But I did also play a few Sierra games, Such as Kings Quest V, Gabriel Knight, and Leisure Suit Larry.
EDIT: I completely forgot about 'Dare to Dream'. That was most likely my first encounter with a point n click.
Dat wave of nostalgia, man ;_;
Putt Putt save the zoo. I remember a part that really freaked me out though, when you have to ride an piece of ice down a river, and you have to quickly choose which path to take. I chose one that lead me to some spot in the middle of no where, and strange growling noises came out of no where, I was scared shitless, and quickly shut off the game. I just wonder what would have happened, maybe I should look it up.

That looks very similar to Day of the Tentacle:
But, my first was Sierra's Gold Rush
