I don't think you could ever get a real answer to that.A game like Pong would probably be damn close, anyhow.

First video game ever to come into my hands is this anyway :P

And indeed it was a tennis game similar to Pong. According to the article, it was invented as early as 1948.

Pong showed up on the Magnavox Oddysey, which, btw, was the first video game console.
