Twisted Metal world tour was invited round a mates at 6 00 am on his birthday after he opened his PS1 and what a great game to start it off
The first time I played a PlayStation was when I rented the system from a local BlockBuster store.
I ended up renting Road Rash and Twisted Metal. I honestly can't remember which one of those I played first, but, the first game I bought was Road Rash.
About a month later I got Twisted Metal 2 and it became one of my favorite games (and still is).
I think the first time I played it was some fighter pilot game at a friend's house... but I bought a PSX to play Chrono Cross, so that was the first one that I really played.
The first game for me was "Resident Evil". It's what sold me on the system. Then the system came with a demo disc which contained "WipeOut", "Twisted Metal", and some others - which I immediately went out and purchased after playing the demos all night long... TM especially.
2 Xtreme My cousin had a ps1 and that was his first game. we played that game every time for hours. :D
The first 2 games that came with my playstation were V-Rally and Croc: Legend of the Gobbo's.
Though I might have played the famous 'demo one' before I popped croc or v-rally in.
In that case it would have been either Gran Turismo, Tekken or Kula World I believe.
Descent then it was Metal Gear Solidleonard88
Oh Gawd! I forgot about "Descent"!!! I had that, in the big long-box case format!!! Great fun!!!:D
not sure... but just guessing that it was some for of a WWF game... back when it was the WWF. Possibly a WCW one... the big thing in the neighborhood was having tournaments every week.
By the way... getting together with people to play games is so much more fun than playing over the internet. Yelling screaming friends blows on-line out of the water anyday. It's what I miss about getting older and still enjoying games. Most my game buddies are nowhere near.

EmeraldMonkeyThe lame thing about the Playstation in that respect was that you had to buy an attachment just to do 4-player games. I could hardly believe it when the Playstation 2 came around and they didn't address that issue at all.

The multi-player. Well, that and delivery pizza! ha

I enjoy playing games with friends over at someone'shousethan online and listening to tons of people yell and curse each other out worrying about their stats. When you had friends over, you just had a good time win or lose.
