My longest played videogame is monster hunter freedom unite, played it for about 750+hours. I only played that game an hour or two a day, but I played it for about two years. It was so fun that i didn't even buy another game. My second longest played was metal gear solid portabl eops plus. Single player was fun and online was addicting. My psp broke so I don't play those anymore though :(

Probably the original Counterstrike, followed by World of Warcraft and Guild Wars in the hundreds of hours (200-300 most likely). Longest game that's not a multiplayer or MMO and that doesn't include replays, Persona 4 at close to a hundred hours.

Super Smash Bros Melee: Beating the game 100% and playing multiplayer with friends probably adds up to like 500 hours

Xenoblade: Took me 100 hours to beat the story and there's still more stuff I want to do

Pokemon Red-Ruby: I replayed Red many times and put about 250 hours into Ruby and about 200 in Gold

Advance Wars Dual Strike: I've clocked in about 150 hours

In terms of total time played, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time at 2000+hours, but that's been over many playthroughs.

In terms of a single campaign to 100% the game, Gran Turismo 4. I've never been able to 100% it after starting a new file, but have sunk 100-200 hrs into each file.

If considering games with a plot and definite end, probably Persona 3. 1st run through was about 110hrs long.

That's a tough one. Single player wise, I think either Pokemon, Fallout 3, or the Grand Theft Auto games. But I've logged in hundreds of hours into the multiplayer for the Halo games, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Kart.

The longest time I've spent for a videogame? Chrono Trigger, for sure. I still remember going through more than 80+ hours of gameplay without any sleep when it first came out. I was that determined to get everything possible, including all the endings.

Flight Simulator X. I have at least one free flight mission daily since I bought it back in January 2007 with no signs of quitting any time soon.

BHD at something like 1500 hrs or more. No way really to track that. BF2 was second at around 1100 hrs. Edit: If you add up every playthrough of Final Fantasy VI I've done (probably 10 or more) then it's likely more than 2,000 hrs or more.

World of Warcraft or the Sims I suppose since both technically have no ending. Although I did play Sons of Liberty all in one session once. That seemed like an eternity to me...

Probably City of Heroes. I was in a pretty big pvp guild and played a lot for a couple of years. I would be scared to guess at how many hours.

As far as story or just total time playing? I know Fallout: New Vegas took me a good 60-70 hours before beating the main story. I've spent about 200 hours in both Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Call of Duty: World at War and MW2 probably top that as I used to really be into that. Though now that I think about it, I sadly spent a great deal of time playing RuneScape before I got into "real" gaming. I amassed most of my time with the game in a time-frame of about 3 years, and I honestly don't want to know how much time I spent playing it.
