What was the last game you have played until dawn?

The last game I played until 5am was PTO IV. This was 18 years ago. I just wanted to conquer one more region and upgrade my fighters.

Now that I'm old and have responsibilities I don't do this anymore.

So who has stayed up all night playing a game and what game?

The last time this happened was with Monkey Island 2 back in the early 90's...

Usually turn-based strategy games and such...Endless Space 2 was one of them. Been playing the crap out of Warhammer: Total War

Usually though it's just because it's my weekend and I take a nap on my weekend days that sometimes leads into my evenings, so I end up waking up at like 9PM and then staying up until 7AM lol

Never did that. I don't know you guys can do it. I rarely go to bed after 00:30

Nioh. Lost track of time and wasn't at work the next day, so wasn't a big issue 'to me'.

Usually sleep well, and within my regular hours, as my job is very important to me. Yet at times logic goes out the window if I know no priorities are in demand, and if I'm playing a game that's very enjoyable.

For the record I don't actually recommend playing games at ridiculous hours for anyone else. It's likely the reason I have such poor eye-sight. But I'll always do it again if my situation is similar to the above. I enjoy games, and have no shame in playing them the way I like.

How about the actual game "Until Dawn"?

I have a job and kids so pretty much no game these days, but there are plenty of games that I enjoy enough to play right up until 2am which is usually my hard cut-off.

I bought Endless Space 1 cheap on Steam for like $4. Haven't tried it yet, but now that you mention you liked 2, I will have to give the original a try.

Persona 5 and Uncharted 4. Oh, and FFX. I'm a night person lol

Yeah, no. Eyes simply don't work like that. Staring at a screen in a dark room or being really close to it may cause eyestrain but it doesn't permanently damage your eye-sight in any way. People should really stop to spread nonsense like that.

My Optometrist disagrees, and I believe his professional words and advice over your lack of proof to try and make a pointless argument.

Though I will point out it's likely not solely from gaming at late hours (I did put "likely", learn to read).

Overall I've put too much strain on them countless times. Not just from gaming, but work as well.

Hate to break some known discoveries to you; but exhaustion can damage your eye sight, just because you believe it's not true doesn't prove anything.

And to be honest I don't take kindly to your tone of dubbing me a liar. Without my glasses I'm as blind as a bat and five years ago I had perfect vision! Do I blame gaming for this? No, I blame myself for pushing my visual limits to breaking-points, which I have done for gaming as well as work.

Eyes get damaged when you use them for matters that require intense eye use, can cause fatigue, and on-top of already fatigue can have some bad effects. And gaming does fit into this criteria.

Diablo 3, a couple years ago, but I always go to bed at 10pm now because im getting old and need my rest

Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition, going for greater rifts level and checking for more better loots. The last time that I played a game that kept me up until 3 am in the morning was fighting Nameless King in Dark Souls 3. I beat him the next day though lol..

Dota 2. A couple of friends and I just smashed beers and played Dota until we literally passed out. Can't do that no more but, FeelsSadMan

I played Game of thrones until 3AM in the morning, i got bored one night and decided to play game of thrones i started playing about 10PM it's crazy on how the game and the series it self are different.

played Empires War until 3am. Since it's an online game that we can communicate with players all over the world, interesting for me. And it reminds of Age of Empires.

Every Dark Souls in the series.

I'm not sure, this was 10+ years ago. I guess it was Disgaea back in 2003 or 2004.
