first i would like to admit i dont know much about computers. but i do like playing computer shooters. i kick ass at the original Unreal tournament G.O.T.Y and i play it with a basic compaq computer without any modifications. but since Unreal tournament 3 is coming out, and i know thats way more than my computer can handle, what will be the cheapest ready to play Cpu that can handle UT3. i dont need moniter, keyboard, spekers etc. just the cpu

What do you mean when you say "Ready to play CPU"? Also, you are going to have to make sure the CPU is compatible with your motherboard.

Welcome to the forums, but this would work better in the PC Hardware board.
