There's a bunch for me. But without naming anything specific a bunch of Gamecube titles would be great. Along with GBA/DS games.
I don't think we'll see the day though thanks to the online service. :(
The following games I like to see get ported to Switch are:
We already know a real Pokémon game and Animal Crossing on the way. But here are a few more-
As many of the CastleVania backlog as possible, including the DS trilogy (looking forward to BS: Ritual of the Night).
Super Mario Galaxy port.
A portable Monster Hunter game, with the mechanical updates from World.
And how Tetris Effect is not on Switch is the real question, but I prefer Tetris portable.
In terms of ports I'd like to see, the main ones would be Wind Waker HD & the rumoured Metroid Prime Trilogy. I'd also like to see a Super Mario Sunshine remake.
And a new 2D Zelda would be nice. But of course I'm hoping to see some new IP too.
I second Golden Sun and a Castlevania collection. The GBA and DS Castlevania games were the best ones, imo. Give us Circle of the Moon through Order of Ecclesia in one set, maybe toss in Harmony of Despair for the heck of it. XD
With WarGroove out, I'm really hoping Nintendo decides to have Intelligent Systems make a new Switch (Advance) Wars game. If they brought it to console, I'm sure it would have some pretty decent graphics compared to the GBA and DS ones.
I've never been able to enjoy Super Mario Galaxy due to how much I hated having to play it with the Wiimote. I would love to see Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 get a Switch port with traditional controls so that I can finally enjoy them.
Id like to have a final fantasy tactics (a new game) on switch or anywhere else
Also would love some gamecube games to be available on switch
animal crossing is on its way but I still want it
@speeny: where do you live that Breath of the Wild cost $89
I do believe Speeny is located in Australia. Australia has the highest taxes in that region compare here in the U.S cause our tax isn't as crazy high compare to the rest of the world. While it's known Nintendo hardly lower it's game prices, but Australia just makes it harder to buy games due to the high taxes.
Breath of the Wild digital still cost $60 here.
@speeny: The P.C. port is known as one of the worst versions, not only suffering stability issues, but has heavily cut content. Which is a shame because always like the idea of new audiences trying great games they're previously been locked-out towards.
Never felt Makai Senki Disgaea forces grinding in the story section, as the player has ways around that outside the tutorial section. A tactical Player can always exploit Prinnies and Towers. End-game is a different matter. Grind isn't inherently bad in my opinion if it's paced around good/ well-designed game mechanics, though more bad examples than good in the world of gaming.
Traditional RPGs usually focus on grinding as an end-game form of replayability. It's not for everyone, but I think it benefits the Disgaea series. Most who just want the story stop at the twenty-thirty hour mark. Those that grind likely get hundreds of hours. Same with people who like Fallout/ Skyrim or even Destiny games.
Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. I don't know why Koei Tecmo isn't porting this to the Switch. I don't want to purchase a Wii U just for one game because the console is dead and I'm not interested in any of its releases.
@RSM-HQ: yep I sunk hundreads of hours in disgaea too. but final fantasy tactics A2 on ds was my favorite by far. each character as its own turn (not the whole team turn at once).
the faster character moves first then the faster enemy turn then your second faster then enemies second faster.
Its just that I like final fantasy tactics more.
@speeny: From file diggers we know the P.C. version is PSP code, which should be a good thing with all the extra content the PSP version has. However the P.C. version had all that content cut. This is why some of the NPCs are in odd places back in the castle.

I do hope we get all the Fatal Frame on the Switch, just hoping for a Fatal Frame Collection would be grate to see but the series is so underrated.

Very unlikely to happen.
I wouldn't state the whole series is underrated either, did well in the 128-bit generation but then Koei Tecmo started to make odd choices to alienate its fanbase.
The first game has also aged extremely poorly and the third game is a terrible follow-up to Zero Shinku no Chou (Fatal Frame II). With that, I highly recommend the Wii remake and that's what I see Nintendo getting a Switch edition of along with the WiiU entry_
With that Zero: Nuregarasu no Miko (Fatal Frame: Wet Crow Shrine Maiden), the WiiU exclusive; as someone who played it can state wasn't very special. Relied on clunky gimmicks with the Wii U GamePad, and did not pay off in kind. Doesn't help that it died on a failing system that favored Splatoon, than an otherwise dead genre at the time.
The only Survival Horror getting notice at the time was The Evil Within, and that was on completely different platforms.
If anything I expect Siren to make a comeback in the near future. Team Gravity is the same developer as Project Siren, and considering they've wrapped up the Gravity Daze series they'll either make something new or go back with Siren. Siren: New Translation was an excellent game that suffered for its business model.
I would dearly love to see the rumors come true and see SNES games brought forward to the Switch. There are so many I'd buy, my list would be huge!
