What Game would you like to see resurrected? (cont.)

First of all: Great feature, guys. Good call on Blaster Master, Punch Out, and Chrono Trigger.

What else would you guys like to see? I personally would like to see either an updated Guardian Legend (NES, Broderbund). That game had a great story line, fast paced action, puzzles, and decent graphics for it's time. If you haven't had checked it out, I highly recommend it if you can ever find it.

We have not had a coop beatemup since um... Fighting Force (I think) outside of Japan in like a decade.

What gives me hope is the upcoming Golden Axe : Beast Rider. That should be pretty good. I can't see why no one would make a beatemup anymore, and I won't accept "It's too hard to make one in 3D" or some other lame excuse. See we can make a million shooters which play the same every single time with the same enemies that pop up in an area, but we can use fists and two by fours to whup ass?

Like some rediculously fast paced jumping and shooting, hitting the alien so it lights up and progressively changes color until it explodes? But only in 3d? That's cool.

More Blaster Master please, but I wouldn't skip a remake of Battletoads either...or Solar Jetman...

Yeah, the very first was awesome.

Anyways, I'd to see Police Quest resurrected. It's the only police game where you do real cop stuff. Anyway, here's a list of games where I'd like to see remakes of or sequels.

• Crusader: No Remorse and Crusader: No Regret
• Black Thorne, one of the best sidecrollers EVER!. Definitely in the top 10 IMO.
• NHL Open Ice 2 on 2 Challenge
• RoboCop VS Terminator
• Wolfenstein
• Twisted Metal for the new gen system would be amazing IMO
• A real Dino Crisis sequel, the first 2 were awesome, not that garbage sequel called Dino Crisis 3
• A remake of Die Hard Trilogy
• Police Quest
• Commandos 1,2,3 , not that garbage FPS called Commandos Strike Force
• Carmageddon please, the very first one was awesome, C2 was good too but C1 still beats it IMO.

Syphon Filter doesn't need any new life, it's still doing pretty good...but you need a PSP.

Anyway, my choices would have to be obviously another Chrono game. And maybe No One Lives Forever 3 as well. And I'm sure Blizzard is doing one or thinking about it, but Warcraft IV would be nice.

Yes yes syphon filter ftw. Oh not on the PSP, on the PS3 please. And make it up to par with the heavy hitters like MGS and Gears since it held its own back in the day. A legend of dragoon would be cool too. I would also like another Chrono game, since cross was one of my fav ps1 games although I didnt play Trigg....er.*shifty eyes*

The day they make a sequel to this is the day I am a multi-billionaire, but at least I can dream.

wow, i remember playing that and didnt get what was goin on. all i did was hid in the restroom stalls waiting for that dude and the music to go away. then again, it was a while back when i was in the 5th grade? (yea, to think scary guy with a blood drenched hedge-clipper = a good game.) i'd bet it would be more enjoyable if i revisited it.

but totally bring back:

strider series, vagrant story, raiden project series (a vertical scrolling aircraft shooter), rival schools, snk vs capcom, metal slug (tho its not really "dead"), battletoads!, mystical ninja (old old school snes), magaman X (the original X), tetris attack! (snes), castlevania SOTN, etc etc. all i can think of rite now.

Whoever said Clock tower for PSX, I'd give you the biggest hug in the world If you were sitting next to me! That game .. so many good memories. I'd definitely pay extra for a remake of that game.
