For me it's PS2. We had a slim and it had disk reading problems. We got a used "Phat" PS2 from my friend for $10 and my 7 year old little brother pulled it off the dresser and broke it. Now we have a silver slim that my stepdad bought from his friend.

oh... and my ps1. i had the first model and when i took it to the store to get looked at they wre surprised at how long it lasted, but we ended up getting the new model.

The original Playstation. I sold my first one after getting my PS2 but then had to re-buy one during my first year of Uni so I could finish Metal Gear Solid (it was glitching at the credits on my PS2 and wouldn't go to the endgame screen). That one decided to have lots of issues with reading discs, playing FMVs and disc swapping... so I bought a slim PS1 a few months ago :)

2 PSX original models due to overusage, disk reading died even when tilted (specially if it drops to it's side a few times then :p)

2 PS2 same problem. Srsly.. worse than Xbox..

GBA SP. Some sort of battery problem, imploded or something, looked a mess inside. Unrepairable.

Odd that my original SNES I've spent several years in actual gametime still works like a charm today. I'll weep the day it dies :(.

your 360 problems are due to over play which is overheating(when stuff starts showing up later). my 360 has had 5 red rings but none were worth sending to microsoft

3 psps! First (Darth Vader 2000) stop playing umds when I dropped it. Had it modded. Then the start button got water on it, fried the little connection. I still use it for, uh, classiscs.2nd, a fat black 1000 I bought for $30, recently developed a drifting analog issue. I tried to fix it to no avail. Now it's an MP3 player for my car.3rd one I just bought, a 3000. Pretty damn happy with it. Bought aplay-through hard case ;)

The great thing about the psp is even when one thing is broken, other functions still work.

I've had to replace 3 systems, 2 due to disc drives going out, and 1 due to a compatibility issue. My PS2 Fat's disc drive went out and I had to replace it, my replacement PS2 Slim has run like a champ ever since. My XBox Original's disc drive did the same, and I just recently replaced it. But I'm worried about it because it's sounds really loud, yet it reads everything unlike my last one. And I had to replace my Sega Genesis Model 2 with a Sega Genesis Model 1 because the Power Unit Converter (let's your Genesis play Master System games) I got is only compatible with the Model 1, despite what the box says. The power plug gets in the way on the Genesis 2, and you can't play your Genesis without power. -Nate-

None. I have nothing but Nintendo consoles. Naturally, I never have to rebuy them, because they're Nintendo products. They just work.

My first Genesis 2, due to some one else breaking it while taking it to a different home. That's it though. All my other stuff still works from back when I got them, including the replacement Genesis 2 I bought.

I've had 7 N64s. Kept selling them when they were out due to lack of games I wanted to play, then something like Ocarina would come out and I would be buying another one. I have 4 of those now though. Had 3 Gamecubes pretty much for the same reason but only have one now.

I bought a second original GBA after the LCD screen of my first one stopped showing images. I also bought another GameCube because my first one stopped being able to read discs correctly, although I realized later that the lens of the disk reader probably just needed to be cleaned.

I had to get a Slim PS2 because the one I had was from launch it and the thing that reads the cds just stopped reading games and at one point it just stopped turning on :(. Bought a slim in 2007 and it's been working like a champ.

I also had to purchase another 360 because the one I had got RROD and MS wouldn't fix it because I live in Latin America and I used to take it to a place about every month to get it fixed but it reached a state where it was beyond repair so I had to get a new one :o

I've had to repurchase the SNES.
But not because it broke, but because when I was young and dumb I sold my original for $50.

I'm on my second PS2.

I bought the first one (with the PoP bundle), worked great for some time, then it stopped reading dvd's. Sent it to Sony a couple of times, always came back with a new optic drive and worked for some time, it turned out that the problem was with the optic drive's controller (after around 6 moths without my console...).

Once I knew it'd be 100 euros to get a new optic drive controller I got a PS2 Slim, which is working fine.

PS1, PS2, and PS3, all because they kept breaking down. Only other console I've rebought was the dreamcast, but that was because the first one was finally failing on me after about six and a half years of (ab)use. My girlfriend was able to find a spot that was cheap enough on them for me two pick up two consoles.

Sega Saturn,PS2 and 1,Dreamcast, and how can I forget the NES. Maybe a few others I can't think of at the moment. I sold each of those systems to get the next generation system (so-called...) , at one time I sold three consoles to get one...
