What classic game

Do you find yourself going back to the most. Just tell me what or maybe give me a little story why you find yourself playing it so often. Me personally I play battletoads and smb 3 everywhere.I have the original copies, on the virtual console and just about every electronic device I carry around I want it to be playable on it haha.

I do this all the time. I'd say I have a group of classic games I continually go back to. Starfox, Link to the Past, Mario 64, DKC, and various Final Fight type beat em ups. There's something about that original Starfox, I can't quite put a finger on it. This habit is also a big reason I bought a 3DS.

Radiant Silvergun. Played over 90 hours in it in the last two years, and still playing it for a few hours a week.

Megaman X4

sim city.

sometimes you want to make a huge city, sometimes small, sometimes island based, sometimes a mountain city, sometimes small cities scattered through the land

Majora's Mask. it's just a great game.

Many NES, Master System, Genesis and N64 games. But less so the SNES and other consoles.

That is all really interesting. Everytime I am in my room and have something to do I have to fight myself to not sit down and play smb 3 for a few hours haha. Its a shame I have to work so much. Theres always the gameboy version though =D

Phantasy Star Online III for me, Super Mario Bros 3, Castlevania (NES) and symphony of the Night. I also play alot of final fantasy X alot

As much as it pains me to confess it, I have a very big soft spot for Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for the playstation. It'll be a rainy day outside and the bright idea to check on my farm takes over me and then I cannot help but spend a few hours planting and harvesting.

I only ever beat him once, by decision. To this day I couldn't tell you how. Best answer I have is that my reflexes were spot on that day.

As for me, Zelda; LttP I'm always happy to back and play that again. There is just something about that game that makes me feel all fuzzy.

Yoshi Story...Loved that game...I've played it so much.

And since this is the Legacy Plateform thread and the gamecube is considered one of them, then also Paper Mario: TTYD and F-Zero Gx...I've put so many hours into both of those games...neither of them get old at all..., I've beaten PM: TTYD aleast 15 times now. :D I consider both of those games classics =)

I highly enjoyed it back then! Don't know how it's held up over the years though.

The 8-bit Mega Man games are all about pattern memorization. You just need to play them over and over again :P

Paper Mario & Chrono Trigger. Two of my favorite jrpg's of all time, they just never seem to get old.

There are so many i like to go back and play, main ones being super metroid and link to the past on SNES, but mainly go back to the Gamecube to play Metroid Prime's, luigi's mansion, the pokemon games, Resident evil 4, metal gear solid twin snakes. The list can go on the have so many i love to go back and play.

'The last ninja' on the C64!last night oh and 'The way of the exploding fist' great games,Christ I feel old!

well when i play my cla$$ic games i often go for top gear goldeneye perfect dark donkey kong country 2 or on ps i pop in need for speed hot pursuit 1

• Donkey Kong Country (fun, amazing graphics for its time)
• Sensible World Of Soccer (best football game ever made)
• Wave Race 64 (fun, beautiful, its like eating cake)
• Street Fighter 2 Turbo (fun, challenging, not too complicated)
• F-Zero (addictive, amazing graphics for its time)
• Aladdin (fun, cheerful)
• Aliens Versus Predator 2 (every time I watch the films I need to play this game)

Sometimes I like going back and evaluating games that were graphically ahead of their time, out of curiosity. Seeing how well they've held up can be interesting. But I'll quite often replay games that are ugly as sin too, just because they're still really good. IMO out of all the old consoles I've played the N64 has aged the worst generally for gameplay and graphics.

YES. haha great game. I go back to the n64 the most even though it has the most unpleasant graphics sometimes

Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, SMT: Nocturne and Shenmue. I still play them from time to time; these games are unparalleled, imo.

I have had a bunch of fun going back and playing NBA Jams TE for the Genesis. Great gameplay can always stand the test of time! My kids, who are 12, and also used to gaming on the 360, actually have a blast playing it!They grew up on the Gamecube/Xbox/PS2 era and occasionally mock the graphics of my Genesis, or Legacy consoles, so it's rewarding when I get them into playing some of these old school titles. Shinobi Legions has earned a bunch of my time lately also. The only thing that sucks with that is the fact that my little battery on my Saturn is dead, so no game saves currently! I know it is a small lithium battery, like a watch battery, which only costs about $3, it's just I haven't gotten around to getting one!lol
