Bayonetta 3 had an excellent soundtrack. Let’s dance, boys!
How about you, GD? What video game music puts you in a good mood?

Bayonetta has great music direction in general.
Suppose I'll post the Fluffy Dango from MH: Rise, I have a lot of problems with the Portable teams latest entry, and its expansion. The song however cracks a smile on my face every time.
And because I've posted this before I'll beat some comment to the punch, no this is not sung in Japanese, Fluffy Dango is sung in the Monster Hunter language, built for the franchise as far back as the first entry on PlayStation 2. It does however has subtitle translation for all major languages. But I'm not here to provide those links just post a good mood song_
Mirror's Edge soundtrack takes me back to the good old days before the industry went to complete trash.
@masterkiller103: Techno Syndrome by The Immortals ツ
It's got a good beat, that's for sure.
Also @ghosts4ever if you're a fan of D00M? you need to check out this cover of E1M1_
*These tunes stir my blood in a competitive sense more-so than put me in a good mood though lol.
To each his or her own.

Never played the game but this sounds awesome.
Currently listening to this: Pretty chill
Also this.
And sure one more for the road.
Ah, Gravity Rush, such a cool IP. Reminds me of when Sony took a chance on quirky ideas. I miss that Sony!
Damn Solid, fully expected a list of SM64 tracks. 😂
Think Bayos music is a perfect fit for the games, no doubt. Yet even in hundreds of hrs of play, none of it really sticks with me. Kinda like Nu Doom in that sense. Think TW101 is the only Platinum joint where I can easily recall various tracks.
Anyways, good mood, not about memorable.
Mario series is just soooo stacked in that sense. Plenty of nostalgia backing it, but also just good vibes.
Just the first that springs to mind.
Galaxy 2 is brimming with good mood material, but I'm partial to chill vibes and think SM64s Dire Dire Docks nails it.
Similar with DKC.
Yoshis Island, best invincible theme. 😂
Sonic Manias whole OST is banger
Likewise with SoR4. Rising Up elevator section is my fav, but for good vibes, right from the title theme.
Chrono Trigger, also stacked.
Uplifting main theme.
Laid back Zeal
Countless greats from Uematsu, as well as stuff like Zelda series, SF2, SFA, etc.
Think I'll stop here tho lol.
@ConanTheStoner: Wow, super chill and mesmerizing music. Reminds me of this lol.
Lol, I wasn’t expecting that Mario 64 one from you but it’s super nostalgic, love it.

I just downloaded Monster Hunter Rise on GamePass and immediately thought of your post!
From the ending of Kingdom Hearts 2. That game is at the center of my childhood memories. Not to mention she's a good looking woman. :3
The second one is the most powerful version of Simple and Clean I've heard. It's so beautiful and elicits hope to me.
The Divinity games have good music
The Witcher tavern music and stuff can be good.
Bioware games as well
@SolidGame_basic:
Yeah, good pick. You know I'm not big on FF8, but as with most FF games, music was top. Salt flats is way chill, the overworld music as well. Man with a Machine gun is easily one of my favorite battle tracks in the series. Laguna squad gets all the good stuff lol.

Love this song, but it makes me more introspective/sad than happy 😄

Oh wow! Haven’t heard this one in a long time. So good! Starting to remember all of these now..
@SolidGame_basic:
lol yup, good stuff. Every time I get that nostalgic itch to replay an older FF game, find that just listening to their OST is enough.
This one stands out to me the most, but the whole soundtrack is great.
There are other games also, but I don't want to make a long post, so I'll just leave one of my favorites.

A lot of things to do with the SNES make me very happy, but nothing is better than old donkey kong soundtracks. Love the video with Videogamedonkey where he explains how good the musk really is

You just can't go wrong with FF7 music. The Remake did an even better job of remixing them.
Uematsu the goat.
Wonder how much 70s porn he watched while composing this.
😆
