Vapourware that YOU wish saw the light of day?

For me there are many games that were juggled around, but ultimatly cancelled. However one the stands out for me currently is Baulders Gate: Dark Alliance 3,

love,love LOVED that series, especially when played with a friend (or one of my brothers) a 3rd addition to the series has been in limbo for nearly a decade, but alas, the future release of the game seems bleak :(

Fear Effect 3. The first two played like the old RE games but boasted a Hellraiser meets John Woo vibe I loved. There were many 'Holy **** I can't believe they just did that!' moments (like one of the main characters getting one of their arms chopped off).

Also, I was fascinated by the promises Molyneux made in regards to BC. Supposedly one would manage a tribe of cavemen trying to survive (and make tools) in an functioning ecosystem they shared with dinosaurs and ape-men. Probably pie in the sky, but I hope somebody makes it happen someday.

After Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth was announced there were two other games based off the Cthulhu Mythos that were supposed to come out. Unfortunately with the demise of the developer, those games went with it. Would have also loved to see the real Fallout 3 (Van Buren) and Obsidian's Aliens RPGsmerlus

Good answers - Fallout 3 was going to get my vote too.

And I would have loved to see the pre-Bethesda version of Dark Corners of the Earth. Headfirst had huge plans for that game, that never survived Bethesda's port to the Xbox. :(

Van Buren. I mean it was good some ideas were recycled into Fallout New Vegas, but it's just not the same.

Titan Quest 2 - Iron Lore went bust too soon after completing TQ:IT, though I know some of the devs reformed into Crate to make Grim Dawn (Kickstarter supported :) )

Phase Exodus - stumbled across it in GameSpot and it has a very STALKER-esque look to it. Unfortunately it seems to have fallen off the face of the earth a few years ago without trace.

Thief 4 - actually has a chance at coming out, though whether it bears much resemblance to the previous games remains to be seen.
