Good news, Simpsons fans - the full soundtrack from The Simpsons Hit & Run is now available on Spotify and Apple Music.

Interestingly enough, it seems as though the soundtracks have been available to stream since September last year, but it's only now fans have noticed the cult game's OST sitting between other fan-favourite soundtracks, including Go Simpsonic with the Simpsons, Songs in the Key of Springfield, and Testify.

anyone else a fan of the original game from back in the day? I remember playing it in the arcades.

This was a game I wanted, but never got around to playing. Would be down to try if they release it on moder hardware.

From what little I know this game was/ is referred to as The Simpsons: Grand Theft Auto edition.

I'm not really into open world sandbox games like GTA, and I'll spare sharing the reasons why, but for those who want it? I hope when it's remastered (if). It turns out better than the garbage RockStar shilled out with the trilogy.

Remasters/ modern ports should be about bringing older games to new hardware/ audiences and preserved to as high a quality as possible. Give these games the respect they deserve. Not a cheap cash-grab.

Yeah pretty nice game for what it did. Definitely better than Saints Row 2022.

I'm guessing more a sign of polling, of sorts. How many listens will it get? If >x, then remaster.

That's what I think for most remasters. Most recently the Dead Space Remake. I imagine if it does well enough, we'll either get another Remake or a proper sequel.

Nostalgically weird and mysteriously enjoyable. Nice.

Ah, the memories. I'd love to see it rereleased. Me and my siblings played it every chance we could get.
