Like in general?!?!?!

As for me i'd like to see them on par/enhanced from the previous versions

PORTS DONE RIGHT

DKC3 GBA PORT received extra content via an extra world "PACIFICA" & the better soundtrack (i believe)

SUPER MARIO ADVANCED PORTS the latter 2 entries both received extra content as well... SMA3 got extra levels while SMA4 an incredible amount of content included

Mega Man LEGACY COLLECTION introduced rewind/save features & i believe Nintendo versions have extra content aswell

PORTS DONE WRONG (anything by bethesda lol)

Ports/ remasters are good when handled correctly. Gives more people a chance to play a wider selection of games, usually the best games of past generations.

While I've seen a few throw the argument "I would prefer they make new games". Ports are rarely handled by the development team responsible for the original product, As they're commonly already working on some new game.

Instead publishers hire teams that specialise in porting games, Bluepoint Games and Iron Galaxy are just a few that specialise in that area.

I like them myself. Of course it’s always nice to see them improved in some way whether that be graphically, mechanically, or with extra content.
