Soul Calibur 6 is a pretty solid game.

Got it on Steam for 8 dollars. SC6 brings me back to Soul Calibur 2. Really didn't expect it to be this fun. What do you think of SC6

Played it back on the Xbox one can see why you got SC 2 vibes. It's a well polished fighter.

Loved Soul Calibur 2 and it's one of my all time favourite games.

Do you play SC6 online or offline?

Soul Calibur VI is probably the best game in the series, it had a low budget and shows in some areas, the backgrounds are more impressive in IV than in VI for example.

The DLC high in large as well was slightly disappointing. VI could have been better if Bandai Namco had faith in the game.

I have the Xbox One version and played a bit of it. Really enjoyed what I’ve played and would like to get back to it sometime to play more.

6 is great. Returns to it's roots in a lot of ways, but also streamlines some ideas from 5. I'd still say 2 is my favorite but that may just be nostagia.

Want to hear some bullshit? 6 is the bestselling game in the franchise, but Namco still found it's numbers disapointing. The game's director was kinda forced into retirement over it. I guess next to Tekken 7's run away success, it was hard to measure up.

This is all according to Maximilian Dood over on Youtube anyway. Don't know for sure how credible he is, but I figure he's privy to some industry shit.

You might be right that IV has better backgrounds, but have you turned off "Post Processing"? It gets rid of the depth of field effect, so you can actually see details in the stages.

@judaspete: Yeah, I remove the filters in these games all the time. Tekken has a thing for blur filters as well. It's more that the backgrounds are not as interactive as the ones in IV, while VI are a little more flat and gives the vibe VI did not have a very big budget.
