retro xmas buys?

what are some retro games u are picking up for xmas? SF2 turbo , legend of zelda -a link to the past

im going to buy a 360. i've had enough of all these old games.

Hopefully, Chrono Cross. (no, I've never played it) Or maybe the GBC version of Dragon Warrior III.

I'm planning on getting a PS3, (Doesn't count at all) a Dreamcast (Doesn't REALLY count) and...A COLECOVISION! Yeah, this bad boy was VERY powerful for its time and had hardware pretty much identical to the Sega SG-1000 (Only in Japan/Europe) and Microsoft MSX. (Only in Japan/Europe) It had a huge controller with a joy stick disc, two fire buttons on the sides, and a full keypad. The systems were HUGE and bulky, but the biggest attraction might be the Expansion Module #1 (Others included a driving controller, a trak ball controller, and an Adam Computer connector) which lets you play Atari 2600 Games on it!!! The system is about 150 bucks in good condition on eBay and the Expansion Module adds on about 20. I would get a Atari 7800 if it weren't for this (It can play Atari 2600 games too, but in my opinion it's library isn't as good) and an Atari 2600 before that, but the commercials were right, this IS the ONLY game system you'll EVER NEED!

The Atari 2600's library needs no introduction, but the Colecovison had many PHENOMENAL Arcade ports that some consider to be better than the Arcade, and fantastic original titles as well. Games like Burgertime, Pepper II, Frenzy, Lady Bug, Gorf, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong JR, Popeye, and SO MUCH MORE are simply TIMELESS.

I can't wait for christmas, because I've been saving up my money since Summer to splurge it all on a ton of retro games. I've got 31 games in total in my shoppingcart online, and it comes to a total of 400$, but I'm almost there. So far I've got A Link to the Past, Super Mario World 2, Super Metroid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, 3, and 4, Zelda II, Castlevania, The list goes on and on.......
