Remember cheat codes?

I am talking about real cheat codes, like the ones in goldeneye or doom. They don't have very many cheat codes in games anymore. most of them are micro-transactions or earned through tedious collectables. I remember using the doom cheats and wreacking havoc on all of my enemies. nowadays even if you do get cheat codes through collectables, saving Is disabled (like in ac4), so I cant do that ultimate badass run.

I use cheat engine/trainers now when I need to scratch the cheat itch. But yeah...they were cool back in the day. I guess on console you need cheat codes if there are to be any cheating.

Yeah, those were the days... I still remember the invincibility cheat for Twisted Metal 1.

Yes, I remember using cheat codes in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The one I still remember is the Jetpack: L1,L2,R1,R2,up,down,left,right,L1,L2,R1,R2,up,down,left, right (Ps2) . Good times, good times...
