How are consoles dying? Just because someone got a PS2 for $42?

What are you talking about? The PS1 and GameCube have already been discontinued, not sure on the PS2 but it's almost 10 years old for the original. Last I checked the units are still going strong, so what's the point your trying to make?

I think we can classify this as a joke title, using this person's logic every console in the past is dead when they are far from it. All of them have at least some fan following and almost all of them still have people making games for them.

Oh, I don't think the consoles are dying. They're very much alive-- people still collect and play them, right? I have an N64 that I got for 40 bucks at Play N Trade and I love it.

the gc it self are discontinued -but games are still sold at gamestop and pawnshops etc

the ps1 has been discontinued for both games and consoles after nascar 2005

so ya , and since gamestop took over they only carry stuff from last gen except xbox and gba cause the sales of those were so low cause iguess every one already had what they wanted sucks though because i have a few games i need to rebuy ,

as for films go ,

not all films are dying , -die hard has a collecter set right now at walmart,

and will get a bluray version soon if they arent already got one

but theres very few i know that probably will never see a remake of /remaster of

1 is wheels of terror -that movie was about a school bus driver whos daughter is kidnapped by some guy in a black charger-just for people who dont recognize this one by name

2 also after so long all disney movies go locked away before their re release and their next re release would be on bluray if dvd dies off soon

3 rugrats movies have recently been discontinued except go wild and a bunch of the episode dvds -decade in diapers etc stuff like that

4 007 bluray were put out short time ago but now are back in the vault with only quantum being available , there are no more 007 movies on dvd until the new one comes xcept if you shop online or find a few lying in the 5 dollar bins , at walmart

so no films do not die but they are put away in a vault until the proucer runs them again like hOME ALONE 1.2 THOSE ALWAYS RUN XMAS SEASON THEY NEED TO RUN 3 OUT AND 4 OUT BECUASE I GOT 1 and 2 already ,

...This is one of the dumbest threads. Of course old consoles are dying because everyone has a current Gen console. And with the current gen consoles, you can download these old games from N64, PS1, etc.

A console is not dead until i have all the games i want from it
