I like how it's harder to get your hands on a regular edition of FFXII than it is to get the Collectors Edition. I went to buy the Regular one a week after it came out and all they had was the Collectors so I said fine, it's only ten bucks more, but I figured I'd just get the regular one when it goes down way low. Now they've dropped the CE to $49.99 and the regular one is backordered on Gamestop.com. I find it ironic that there's an abundance of the 'Limited' Collectors Edition, but the regular version is nowhere to be found. Anyhow it's a great game. I just wanted to see if anyone else noticed the not-so-limited collectors edition of FFXII clutering the market. With the price drop I feel horrible that I was forced in to picking the CE at the time. I wish that some 360 games dropped to $50 bucks as quickly as FFXII: CE did. That ten bucks could have been used to save up for a PS3. Oh well, I just hope that they get more regular ones out there so I can get one at some point and that the regular ones don't sky rocket on eBay.
try playing final fantasy 7 only on the play station 2 and all there really is to it is getting omni slash, because i learned from experience that when you play on the play station you can only get to the second form and theres three forms.
in case any of you who don't know, if your having trouble playing final fantasy 7, you should play it on play station 2 because theres a glitch on the play station where you can only get to the second form of the last boss, out of three forms, you can get to the third form of the last boss on the play station 2 because theres a glitch when you play final fantasy 7 on the play station.
i recommend killer instinct to any body, because theres so much in it to do the highest combo i did on the game was on orchid it was a 30 hit ultra combo it was too cool!:).
heres a subdestion to all you new comers on rpgs, you have to walk on eye contact with your opponet with graduation and poise, and soon you will get it!:).
me to, but i think they went off on final fantasy x a little bit because i dident like the sphere grid system that much but the battles were pretty good, and i liked finding the al bhed languedge translators alot, the characters were good!, i liked the arena thing alot because you could get more moves on the sphere grid, and get stronger.
I'm not sure if anyone has suggested it already, but .hack//G.U. is a great RPG that has two more volumes coming out later next year. Also, the first four games to the .hack// series: Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine. It's not very popular and commonly liked by a ton of people, but I think it's awesome and I'd suggest it to any RPG fan.
heres a suggestion for any of you who are playing crono trigger and are stuck on the black omen, all you have to do is go to those blue demi humans and go up theres a door that you can get to and press A, then you will be able to beat the game the real way here on!, and for earth bound to get past the ghost in the tunnel part you have to beat some enemies and get strong enough to ride past the the ghosts and then you will be able to get past the tunnel!, thats all i know for now, i should be getting this game for Christmas and i will tell you guys more about the game, if you guys want me to, me and my family got together, and me and my cousin played it and we liked the part were you have to explore the meteor!:) lol, i am going to play crono trigger bye!.
in final fantasy x make sure that you get the al bhed translator in the beginning of the game, and you will be able to get them much easier!, and for final fantasy vii make sure that you get the master matieria and you will be able too even the time were you get the omni slash!, to beat spheroth, if you have the final limit break you can beat him, and for chrono trigger you will have too get the new game plus and to do this you have to beat the black omen, and to get the red stone you have to go to the stone ages and find ayla and go to the mountains and get the aero tactels and fly to the fortress and beat the enemy's and you will figure this out quickly, and on final fantasy ix, you have to get all the ability's and you will be able to beat the game easier!, and final fantasy iv beat the gorillas as fast as you can!, and on earth bound, the hardest part in the game is the part were you have to come across the ghost's, you have to get as much experience as you can for you to walk past the ghost's and then you will be able to get past the tunnel!, find orange kid and talk to him and then get something from him and talk to the apple kid:)lol.
heres how get to the opera part that i was stuck on, you have to go to the village near the opera and go to the top part of the town and talk to the guy pacing around.
in final fantasy 3, to get past the part were you have to beat the robot at the broken village, all you have to do is level up enough and then you'll be able to beat the boss.
good, i would suggest final fantasy 3 to you if you have not played it, my brother beat the game I'm stuck on the part were you have to defeat the boss thats invincible to every attack except lightning, I'm leveling up right now, and hope to beat him!:)lol.

Hey guys a quiestion: Do i have to play Suikoden 1 and 2 to play the third one? I want to play it, but I don´t know if I can because of the story and everything...
I don't like RPG's in general. I have always wanted to play FF games (I bought FF VII) for my PS and never got around it after the first hour of play. I have always felt RPG's are too slow for my taste. Action Adventure is much much better. Keep updating this, I may grow some interest on RPG's and who knows!!!! my be I will become a fan one day! great thread!
