Ok so i have an xbox 360 and I play it all the time but my favroit game is batman arkam city. I Just recently went out to game stop to buy the game execpt im not made of muny and couldnt afford the game at the NEW price. So I picked up a coby of it used because it was cheaper and there are 2 reasons i want the game 1: it's batman 2: it would be fun to play as catwoman for once! espically on a game like this! but it used and the game says it comes with A code so i get a little worried because it's a used game. so i ask the guy at the counter if the game come's with the catwoman code because its used and he says "yes it does" with out checking or any thing. so i buy the game and take it home. put it in the xbox 360. and then the option comes up that says "Redeem CatWoman" i hit yes. Then the keypad shows up that i enter the code with. i look in the game case and theres no code slip. i read through the manuals. no code. i read through the merchidise manual thats in there. no code. so i just decide ill deal with it later and i play the game until i beat it. so i beat the main story and start to fell a little bored, and even more ripped off every time i see the cats on the building and decide to go back to game stop the next day and see about this. so i wake up go to game stop i explain to the guy my situation and he tells me that and i quote "No the used game does NOT come with the catwoman code" WTF!! and they wouldnt do anything about it! so what i want to know is if any of you fellow gamers be willing to help a guy out and give him a code. i would buy the code but i fell so ripped off and i cant afford points right now. also if you are willing to give me a code let me know before you post it on here so i can tell you my email and you can email it to me so someone else dosent use it. P.S. this forum is pulled up on my pc ALL THE TIME also im USA central time zone
This has to be a joke right? I'll bite. For whatever reason I doubt they told you the used copy would have a code in it because if you went back the next day and they flat out lied to you then you would indeed have a legit beef and they would give you a refund especially if it was the same guy. Of course the game SAYS it comes with the code because they did in fact come with a code new. What do you think the case would automatically change it to saying it doesn't come with a code because its used? Pure common sense dude that it wouldn't have a code. Obviously you can't use a code twice or that would defeat the entire purpose of what they where trying to do by giving codes away for new copies. Now I don't know what system you got it for but the USED non GOTY edition is $37 right now. You could have got the GOTY with ALL of the DLC for just $8 more. Seriously if you wanted DLC that was just unwise of you to purchase that thewn for less than TEN BUCKS you could have gotten Catwomen, Robin, Nightwing, Harley, all skins etc....even if you didn't have the money you should have saved the friggin 10 bucks to get the GOTY edition. annnnd you most likely just suceeded in trolling me. If I had a code I would give it to you since someone gave me a code when it first came out. That was when I rented it and since then I have bought the GOTY edition. This late in the game I HIGHLY doubt someone has a unused code sitting around seeing as how the game has been out for months now. But you never know. I would advise if they truly lied to you to raise heck until you get a refund and then buy the GOTY edition.
Dude Its Kinda Common Sense That The Game Wouldn't Have The Code In It If It Were Used, Because The Codes Are One Use Only And Their Given Out By The Developers Of The Game, With The Games...Btw, I Bought The Game On The PSN, And U Can Probably Buy It On The Xbox Live **** Too, And It Came With The Code When I Bought It There, lol Shoulda Done That
Ok listen. i know i messed up. i know i didnt think things through. i know this sounds like a bunch of BS. but it really DID happen. and ive tried every thing to fix it. and i cant afford the dlc and that parts not my fault cause the guy in the store apparently didnt know what he was talking about. whats done is done ok. im just asking politlly for somebody to spare a code. i mean theres got to be someone there who reads these thing and will happen to have a code theyll let me use. i allready tried this website http://www.catwomandlcfree.info/ it gives you a free code but it dosent work on my pc. so im just asking for a kind person to let me have a code. gamer to gamer man.
Sorry dude but I would be shocked if someone actually still had an unused code what 10 months after the game was released? People would have used it...traded it...or gave it away by now. But just because this whole this is curious. Your claiming the person who sold it to you said it would include a Catwomen code? Or the box said it would? Because truly I have a hard time seeing how they wouldn't give you your money back if that was the case. Im not sure how their return policy works but if you brought it back the next day since it was a USED game and not a new one...you should be able to return it no questions asked let alone having a reason to return it. I know for the most part new games don't work that way. Also if it was the same exact guy. What the heck did he say exactly? Tough luck bro? If he told you it had a code and it didnt you should be getting your money back regardless. Stores can't just be like lulzbro tricked ya! Ask a friend for the GOTY 2nd disc. I think it has ALL DLC on it.
Gamestop lets you return a used game for any reason (I believe up to a week), so you should have been able to get a refund with no problem. You could also just buy a new game on Amazon cheaper than a used copy at Gamestop.

EB Games/GameStop doesn't give refunds under any circumstances. It's company policy. And even if they did lie to you, that employee would be fired before they give you a refund. This is the same place that buys people's games from them for $0.50 each and then puts them on the shelf a minute later for 29.99...
