Only game player around...?

Is there like a website/database/listing or something that can tell me where gamers go to hang in my area?  Are there local video game clubs out in the world? (Kind of like Fight Club, only...legal).  Or is this just something I made up in my head? 

I just don't like being the only person for miles who plays video games.

Dude, that's what the internet is for.  I hate to stereotype (well, not really), but most of the people who go to cyber cafes or whatever are the 300 pound covered in cheetos variety.  If you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of mouth-breathers, go right ahead.

The better idea would be to get real friends who just happen to play video games.  Getting together an Xbox or 2 and playing with people who don't totally creep you out is way better than anything you will find... Well, except an arcade, but you would need a time machine for that to work. :(
