Who the hell buys a PS2 in 2012? For Netflix?

This is either an obvious troll thread, or you are obviously terrible at purchasing things.

I guess that comes off as a bit mean, but seriously man. That thing came out 12 years ago, this should not come as a surprise.

I gotta say you must have been lucky they even did it at all if they did lol. Still there are a lot of DVD players out now that are not too expensive that can also do Netflix.

I didn buy it for netflix

Actually I didn't buy it at all. I had a crap load of 360s at some point, one was broken, I fixed it. I traded one for a ps2. It was a cool feature I found out about.

I use my TV monitor hooked up to computer. Much easier then a console ,even though the Wii is rather easy.

roulettethedog

Not ideal when your tv only accepts component or s-video, or gross composite. Also I don't want a computer to do the job, I just leave my PS2 always on, not to mention I don't have the right hook ups, and would need to buy active converters.

It worked very nice

I wish the original xbox supported netflix, I'd use that with XBMC, but no netflix; /

I don't want to spend money honestly to just watch netflix on this good o'll 480p LCD. I mean Roku'z are like 50$ but I don't even think they have component out.

If you don't care for the warranty, you could do a cheapo fix by making a duct at the back of the console and attaching a high pressure 120x38mm fan.

If I had known Netflix could be run on the PS2, I would have done it just to be nerd. Except I cancelled Netflix.

I don't care for warranty, in fact I have soldered to this 360 many times. I am not going to make my 360 look stupid ;p though But I don't have a hole saw for 120mm fan mod.

And because it's been "modified" there is no way this 360 can go online for netflix.
