Need single player recommendations

PS: Although I have played older games, including all the above, I don't like the graphics. Please don't waste your time trying to recommend older games (anything pre 2008). Also I don't like:

Mgs (yes even 5)

Strategy games

RTS games (I don't know the difference)

Any j- rpg (like persona 4,5)

Horror games

I play the games for their stories. I don't play for the gameplay. Hence I quickly move onto other games.

Is this another joke thread? Are you an alt that expects "get a PS4 if you want movie games" replies?

You say you hate JRPGs and strategy games, yet you played South Park SoT and xCom?

What systems do you even own?

@ArchoNils2: I played both but didn't like them much. I own a PC, xone and ps3. But I can play PS4 games at a friend's house. Why do you think it's a joke thread, I am not clear on the genres so what?

Go get Uncharted 1-3 and The last of us, you'll love them. Then continue with the Tomb Raider Remake. On PS4 it's Uncharted 4, Order 1886, Until Dawn and the sequel to the Tomb Raider game

Have you considered The Evil Within and its new and very awesome sequel?

Ah, I should have read more carefully. But in honesty if you have no issue playing "Dying Light" I wouldn't consider TEW games an issue, I've seen a few on here make the complaint The Evil Within games 'lack' the scare factor.

There are a lot of trolls creating new accounts just to troll. Your topic is a pretty good build-up for a "Sonys exclusives lack Gameplay and only look pretty with a focus on story" direction. Sorry if you aren't an alt of a troll, it's just so many crap topics on here I sometimes wish creating a topic has some heavy requirements.

Anyway, if you are genuine, you will love the games I listed. They are pretty much exactly what you ask for.
