My idea for a game: Sim Farm

It's a 2d iphone or ipad game with top down view and tile engine.

You select plot of land to grow certain crops.

Variables are weather, soil ph balance, precipitation, fertiliser, insecticide, pests and disease.

There will also be seasons and a realistic simulation of ecology.

Different plant types will prefer certain conditions, obviously and will thrive depending on their suitability to weather and soil quality.

Successful crops will earn money to buy more expensive varieties and advanced farming methods as well as expand and buy additional plots.

There could also be an economy to account for trends.

Charming hand drawn graphics like Stardew Valley but isometric.

Microstranction heavy. It is designed as a money printer.

Damn.

Mine's better though because it's 2d and is focused on ecology and there are no visible workers or transport, only animations. It's more like Civilisation. Also it is designed for touchscreens not mouse.

[edit] I would say Farming Tycoon looks complete sh*t.

Maxis owns the series SimFarm which is owned by EA

@Enragedhydra: Oh well I can just change the name to Eco Farm Lite and Eco Farm Expert. Free to play and full versions.

I imagine it will have much better graphics, using isometric like Path of Lethis and colour palette of like Stardew Valley.

SimFarm was made in '93 so I imagine whatever graphics you use will be much better lol

Great! Although no farming game can compare with Harveset Moon IMO....
