While most gaming websites are covering the delays of Shenmue 3, Metro: Exodus and Skull & Bones in this week but the biggest blow for me is Phoenix Point also delayed to June 2019, announced by its own creator last month(April). Bioware's Anthem also delayed to 2019 as well but it was already hinted to be released in that year. While this is a rumour but I heard that Ooblets may not going to be released in this year given on how the developer went silent about it for months.

I honestly don’t care. God of War is freaking amazing and deserves GOTY.

As great as RDR2 will be, gameplay wise, it is not touching GoW. GoW is the complete package.

@lembu90: Less a delay and more just the unknown. And that's Resident Evil Remake 2. My assumption is if we don't see it at e3 it won't make late 2018/ early 2019 as many of us are hoping.

I think you're in the wrong place Stuff238 making that comment, this is thread "Most disappointing delays in this year"

Also, God of War doesn't deserve GotY. Because Monster Hunter: World exists

Biggest one for me although it was not as recent was H Hour which was meant to be on ps4 as more or less the new socom for ps4. They announced it then it got scrapped because of something happening with the designers at sof studios but pc has h hour ps4 doesnt. But heard they might be porting it to ps4 but now I have lost all interest.

to a point, I think delays are a good thing. It means the devs are committed to delivering a finished product.

if a game gets delayed multiple times it can point to development troubles and possibly a poor final product

I hate to bump this thread but I just learned that Total War Three Kingdoms, another Sega-published game also delayed to Spring 2019, most likely between March and May of that year. While most journalists give positive reactions on that delay could give more time to polish the game as some Creative Assembly games tend to be very buggy at launch such as Empire Total War and Rome 2 as notable examples but I am very disappointed that I have to wait for 6-9 months more.

You have to believe in the cloud.

On a serious note the original Crackdown was really fun, I'd buy Crack3 on P.C. if it's decent.

I wonder if all these delays are due to a poor engine choice, or Microsoft wanting the game to be a more appealing product. If Microsoft don't show it at e3; then it's a bigger concern.

I hate to bump this thread again but we just got informed that Code Vein also delayed from September 2018 to first half of 2019. No other information given about the new release date. The developers said they need to further refine its gameplay in an effort to exceed the expectations fans already have of the title. While I'm really looking forward towards it but the news of its delay caught me off-guard.

Kingdom Hearts 3. I really hope it doesn't get pushed back again because that could be a sign of development hell lol. It' cool, tho. This will be a busy year with Dragon Quest XI, Red Dead Redemption 2, then Kingdom Hearts 3. I can't wait lol

I made a thread in system wars about Code Vein delayed and despite I was looking forward to it, I'm actually glad it's been delay because this September is really jam packed with AAA games like Spider-Man PS4, Spyro Remastered, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider are all releasing September. Code Vein would have been overshadowed, so the delay really help out.

(Also, sorry for bumping this thread as well but then again, it wasn't me who did it first)

Elder scrolls 6

It got delayed by two crazy big games like fallout 76 and starfield. But I'm looking to starfield. I think it got inspired by mass effect and other spaces games. But mass effect is biggest factor.

Less than a delay and more like a troubled production. So far no new information about Phantom Brigade. All discussion threads in reddit are pretty much dead by now and nobody ever uploaded newer gameplay footage of more recent builds. I also went to their official website and nothing useful ever come out and its lastest news dated September 2017. Unlike most indie games in recent years this one isn't crowdfunded, at least for now. Perhaps the the biggest obstacle they had right now is lack of funding. Why the developers don't even bother to advertise their game in Kickstarter and Indiegogo surprised me. Maybe they trusted real-life investors than some donors in the internet that remained anonymous. It just sad that some shittier "indie" games like Hatred and Yandere Simulator were crowdfunded while this one isn't, making its future uncertain at best.
