  3. The Last of Us Remastered
  4. Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online
  5. Uncharted 4

  7. Destiny
  8. Persona 5

@davillain-:

  • Makai Senki Disgaea 5
  • Tearaway: Unfolded
  • Resident Evil 7
  • Resident Evil Remaster
  • The Evil Within
  • The Evil Within 2
  • Dark Souls III
  • Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2
  • Nioh

I can name more very good games, but these are the only ones I'd gladly replay, or dive back-in for hours on end.

Bloodborne for me suffered too much on a technical level and found a lot of its content and PvP disappointing. Otherwise BB would have been my number 10.

Nier and Ratchet have problems as well that makes them a lesser fiddle to the games I'd prefer to replay.

It's a solid list I say. My only grip with Bloodborne is 30fps and playing 30fps is such a pain in the ass and I wish it was on PC. But other then that, I just choke on it and deal with it. I still need to play Nier even though I already have it on PC.

@davillain-: The whole Bell-system is very flawed, giving the worst multiplayer experience in a From Software RPG.

My only grip with Bloodborne is 30fps and playing 30fps is such a pain in the ass and I wish it was on PC

To be honest Bloodborne is rarely 30FPS; if it was consistent, I may have been ok, especially with offline. In the 2nd Floor Lecture building and Central Yharnam, even in 2017, it's insanely choppy to the point it looks like a slide-show.

As for the P.C. port many seem to ask for. . considering roughly half the game is built by Sony Japan studios I'd state the best chance you have is PS Now, and that won't be an improvement only a downgrade. However, as stated, if the game was a solid 30FPS it would have been tolerable, but it's not.

If we ever get a Bloodborne 2 or something. I just hope the two studios get some work done to make it well optimised to the working hardware. Instead of adding more effects to please the eye-candy crowd. And if the Bell-System and Chalice stays, they need reworking entirely.

My PS4 is pretty much there for Street Fighter V. I play little else in that console.

1) Street Fighter V

2) Bloodborne

3) Batman Arkham Knight

4) Overwatch

5) Infamous Second Son

6) Ratchet & Clank

I really want to play Horizon

May as well ask seeing as I enjoyed the game but grabbed it on PS4. Is it worth rebuying Sonic Mania on P.C. for good reasons, or is it just a platform preference thing on your side?

Genuine question, if some awesome mod or something is on P.C. I'd double dip with Mania. Shame I forgot it from my list, should have been my number 10_

Platform preference, but in this case it's also so I can use my Genesis and Saturn pads. For games like Sonic, I need a circular d-pad, plus it adds to the charm of Mania being designed as if it were for Saturn hardware.

I've seen some mods, but they've mostly just been sprite changes so far. There hasn't been anything on the level of those like for Generations, but it's probably only a matter of time since the Sonic retro community loves this game.

I'm not including any multiplats since I prefer to play multiplats on my Xbox and I can't name ten PS4 exclusives that I love, so I'm just listing the three that I love.

1. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

2. The Last of Us Remastered

3. Uncharted 4

On and off the last 4 years ive toyed with the idea of getting a ps4, only game that's interesting on it is Bloodbourne.

The rest either suck, or are not interesting to me or multiplats better on PC.

Basically the PS4 is Bloodbourne for over £300 for me.

@Renegade_Fury: My controller for P.C. is an Qanba stick, and grabbed it for making the Elite Dangerous experience even more enjoyable. It worked great for Owlboy as well though halfway I just connected my Dualshock 4 because I'm use to the modern pads for most games of that sort.

@thehig1: Not really what I asked but ok. .

Bloodborne is certainly a different breed than the Soul games overall, as it's closer to an Action game heavily rewarding aggressive play, personally think they need a second swing at it to be a more enjoyable experience. Like Demon's however, depends if both Sony Japan and From Software want to join forces again for such a project, it's more likely they'll both team for the unknown Armored Core.

@RSM-HQ: @Macutchi: oh I see well when I say they suck, I mean I think they suck because nothing about those games interest me.

The list Macutchi posted I only have interest in bloodbourne and nier.

Neir and Nioh which I own on steam now anyway.

The other games probabily don't suck objectively, but just don't find them the least bit interesting

@RSM-HQ: Bloodborne runs pretty much solid 30 on my Pro with Boost Mode enabled. Loads way faster too. But 60 fps would have been great. I like Bloodborne more than Dark Souls 1-3. The atmossphere is on another level.

I only use my PS4 Pro for exclusives. I play everything else on PC.

1. Horizon Zero Dawn

2. The Last of Us Remastered

3. Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection

4. Uncharted 4

5. Bloodborne

6. Persona 5

7. Kingdom Hearts - All of them (and probably soon the 3rd)

8. Yakuza Zero

9. Uncharted The Lost Legacy

10. The Last Guardian

I expect some of the upcoming games to take some of these spots tho. Sony is killing it this generation... God of War, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us 2, Shadow of the Colossus Remake, Death Stranding, Detroit: Become Human, Spider-Man and many more..

On top of all these, there's all the small / indie games.. Awesome too. Resogun, Nex Machina, Matterfall to name a few..

The only game that dissapointed me slightly was GT Sport, I'm still not sure why I bought it. I've never liked non-arcade racers. HDR implementation is insane in this game tho. Best I have seen so far. And I'm happy to see dev's go for 60 fps over graphics. For me, a console is about exclusive/unique games and good gameplay, and PS4 delivers. If I want superior graphics and play multi plat games, I'll use my PC.

Oh well, I was actually interested in which games was going to be roasted by Hig. As I'm always up for seeing both sides of the coin, so long as logic is applied.

But @thehig1 already stated it was more of a Bloodborne rant for the purpose of ranting. Which is a shame tbh.

@LasDK: Well it's certainty good to read the Pro update was well done for Bloodborne.

My experience is of the regular model, launch model to be exact.

And in my personal opinion, sure the Pro is without question a slightly more beefy model, yet, if it barely works on the mainline models? That's Sonys problem. I'm not upgrading to a 4K PS4 just to run a two and a half year old game to a playable standard. When other games are already doing that on the cheaper models.

The atmossphere is on another level

Can't state I think the atmosphere is better because outside of Cainhurst Castle, and flower garden in Hunter's Dream everywhere else looks far too similar. If BB has one visual criticism, it's to expect the same coffin, carriage, and many other details on a common basis. It's the prettiest game From Software and Sony Japan Studio has pushed out. However, the game just lacks architectural diversity found in the Soul games.

@thehig1 said: They just luck uninteresting to me.

Can I assume Dark Souls was uninteresting till you tried it? Sometimes it's best to give new experiences a go, especially seeing as gaming is intended to be. . well fun.

And nothing kills that enjoyment more than realising you're in a rut.

@RSM-HQ: dark souls got me going as soon as I seen anything to do with it.

Dark Souls 2 actaully I played the 2nd first as it was advertised and caught my attention

I wouldn't call it a rut, but my tastes have narrowed over the years
