It's a solid game overall. It isn't worth nearly the praise it receives, but its decent.

I disagree, I dont think it gets enough praise by the community. CC is one of my favorite games of all time, I dont know why but I got sucked into it more than any other game Ive played.

It got a perfect "10" on Gamespot (wrongfully, IMO), is that not praise enough?

Because overriding nostalgia of CT will always outshine CC. Different eras, different contemporaries. CC is lumped into the so-called Golden Age of PSX RPGs. CT has no such issues as it is generally regarded as being among the best of the 16-bit era RPGs.

Didnt the SNES have just as many RPGs as the PS though?
And I believe that CT fans were upset with CC because it didnt match any of the fond memories of CT. The two games are completely different and Im sure that pissed a lot of people off.

I dunno, but I always preferred CC over CT. The music especially was just excellent in CC.[QUOTE="QuistisTrepe_"]

There was a huge disconnect from the first game. The convoluted plot became nearly incoherent at times.
It's a good game, but I felt I was overwhelmed about how every decision you do makes a hard change in the story. Like characters and so on.
