Indie games are for douchebags

Indie games are only for pretentious douchebags who like lame 2-4 hour games with simple crappy graphics, stupid main characters like a piece of meat or carrot, and for casual gamers who can only handle a couple hour games because they aren't serious gamers, they just want a quick activity to fill their coffee break between their panache lame activities.

yeah he obviously has no idea what he's talking about. Indie games like Skylines offer more content and look and play much better than their AAA counterpart (SimCity). But this guy is just here trying to insult every possible subgroup of gamers. I wonder who's next? Hardcore games because they have no life?

Are Video Gamers nerds?? Ask any non gamer over 40 about video gamers and they turn a sour look at them. Actually ask a farmer in Nebraska what he thinks of video gamers. His reply will probably be, video gamers are nerds for sitting for hours in front of a screen doing nothing.

So are gamers nerds, or are they Nerf footballs for jocks to punt down the field or is this a legitimate way to spend time and nothing wrong with it.

Went hunting hard for articles that are both over 2 years old? One is 2 1/2 years old. Good job at having an opinion, too bad it's a shite opinion.

I can't stand Indie fanboys they are the worst but normal people that play indies are fine. It's the fanboys that always make it worst and put you down for playing AAA gaming. They think there above you and that they're special because they like some niche game hipster mentality.

AAA games of which I have plenty of experience with both (indies and AAA's) are CONSIDERABLY better than AAA titles.

There is a lot more to do, longer play time, more freedom, and just flat out more fun.

Well, most indie games do tend to be very short, artsy games with only one trick up their sleeve.

Personally I've never found a single indie game that was actually any good. Theyre more like interactive screensavers than real games. Heck, even browser games are better.

Space engineers I have 200 hours

Kerbal Space Program I have 200 hours

7 Days to Die I have almost 1000 hours

so I dont know what indie games you have been playing but the ones I play have a ton of content
