If you had to give away all of your classic games, and you could only keep one?

If you were made to give all of your old games away and you got the choice to keep only 1 game. Which game would it be? :)

Actuality, this depends, when I get rid of all those games, am I stuck with just this one game for the rest of my life, or am I able to repurchase those I got rid of again? Assuming I'm stuck with just that one game forever, I can't think of what the point would be to bother, guess I wouldn't be playing videogames anymore. But I figure this is just a means of saying, what's your all time favorite game for any system, I'm really not sure, there's just too many great games, it all adds up to what makes gaming so fun, its everything as a whole, I've never been able to narrow it down to just one. But while so much as I enjoy the NES, I can't think of one game that would make it worth having still if I had just one game. The PS has more of a chance, where it could be something along the lines of Toushinden, Doom, Twisted Metal 2, or Need for Speed: High Stakes, or even Tomb Raider and Resident Evil, so for the sake of answering this question, I'll go along with those, put 'em behind my back, shuffle them up and then pull one out. I don't know which one it is, I didn't actually shuffle them to see what I'd end up with.

Might & Magic VI.retro82

Good pick there, I would have to second that. Although I think games like Fallout and Planescape were higher quality story-wise, nothing can beat the expansive world and endless gameplay of M&M VI. Since I played it through completely a second time a couple summers ago, I have now logged 800-900 hours in that game, if not more. I have a saying: Might & Magic was Daggerfall before Daggerfall was Oblivion before Oblivion was cool. Too bad they let the franchise die on the horrid note that was IX.

Radiant Silvergun, for the Sega Saturn. It's my favorite game, a true classic, and cost me $175.

FF7's a cIassic now...? When did this happen? :? Unless that's just a typo for FF6... then it's understandable. It's rather late. Or early.

FYI, FF7 was made a cIassic long ago in the PS1 era. Looks like you stayed in the SNES era, though. 8)

Nope, because if you saw any of my other posts, you'd see that I also found FF Tactics incredibly enjoyable. FF7 was utterly ruined by convoluted storytelling, horrible dialogue, and forgettable characters. It's incredibly overrated, and unfortunately, the anime-watching kids loved it, and bought it. Now every JRPG since then has tried to be as mediocre as it possibly can be, to appeal to the same FF7-fan crowd.

FF7 is a "cIassic" to FF7 kids in the same way that Dragonball Z is a "cIassic" to Dragonball Z kids.

Who said Dragonball Z is a "cIassic"?

Don't confuse "masive exposure" with "cIassic".

When FF7 came out, it made a huge difference in the RPG genre at that time. THAT DIDN'T happen with FF6.

People still remember FF7 character's names. FF7 IS a CIassic, like it OR not. 8)

Well, FF7 was my first Final Fantasy game. I played it after it became popular, too. It was my favorite for a short time, until I played FF4, FF6, and FF Tactics... and found them to be much better games in every aspect. Just because FF7 is a c|assic in your opinion, doesn't make it so; if that's the case, then DBZ is a classic, simply because all the DBZ fanboys claim it.

NOT only in my opinion, FF7 is considered one of the greatest games of all time.

If this doesn't make it a cIassic then I don't know what will.

BTW, DBZ IS NOT a CIassic. It didn't made a substantial difference in the anime world like FF7 made in the RGP world.

Ooo, getting raged, I see. :) Regardless: DBZ was a below-average series which made anime popular in the US. FF7 was a below-average JRPG that made JRPGs average in the US. And please, PLEASE send me something a tad less-biased; the industry only says FF7 is good because that's what everyone wants to hear. It's the same reason Famitsu spits perfect scores at any Kingdom Hearts games; they'd lose their subscribers if they didn't sell out to the fan-kids.

 NOW LOOK who's joking

FF7 was a below-average JRPG? Where did you get that from? Look at all these scores.
Seems like there is NOT enough truthful information that can convince you. You're lost case.

BTW, I don't see you backing up your opinion with facts. 8)

Bring me the following evidence and I'll give you my facts:

## Evidence that top-tier website reviews for FF7 weren't paid off by Square and/or Sony.

## Evidence that low-tier site reviews weren't written by anime fanboys biased toward anything anime-like.

Looks like you DON'T HAVE ANY facts to back up your opinion. Cause if you had you would have showed them a while ago.

About the evidence, it was YOU who CLAIMED those sites were PAID or BIASED, SO it is YOUR task to back up that claim with FACTS.

I rest my case. 8)

I think I would keep my N64 with Conker's Bad Fur Day. I remember playing that game at my friends house. We'd play for hours and laugh our heads off, so it's a special game to me.

one game? or one disc?

If it's one game then i'd keep GTA: San Andreas - I could always find something dumb to do.

If it's one disc, then i'd keep my NES Emulator disc for Dreamcast with well over 800 games :)
