I need help with a LAN PARTY

Hey guys so I am looking to host my very first LAN party and I was hoping if others on here have hosted a LAN party that could give me some pointers! If you had a choice between League of legends, Shogun 2 ,World of Warcraft or Battle field 4 which one would you want to play? do people have a preference in terms of days to have a LAN party, I was thinking either on a Friday or Saturday. Best of all I usually like quick finger foods like chips, popcorn, pizza what about you what are your food and drink that others on here like to have during their battle! ;-)

I actually think Halo is the best LAN Party game...not the best game...just really good for LAN Parties. It's quick, it's easy, there are tons of game modes like Capture the Flag, Creating and changing teams on the fly is SUPER simple and above all it's cheap. Free if you downloaded it on X360 Last Month or you can grab a Halo 3 for like 5 bucks.

Probably be best to have a X360 LAN Part these days than a PC one.

Counter Strike 1.6, DotA Allstars, Call of Duty 2 & 4, C&C Generals are all really easy to set up

Do you think DOTA CS and Halo would work better then LOL? Other then a computer the game and internet what else would I need to have a LAN? Ive played online for years but never actually had the people at my home.

I haven't had a LAN party in years. We used to play lots of counter strike, natural selection, C&C, Warcraft. The last time I went to LAN party was probably 2009 last time I hosted my own was like 2002 lol.

So I want to have another LAN is anyone on here interested in playing LOL

Halo Lans FTW! Literally the best lan party game for sure. No matter which one either Halo 1 - 4 and everything in between. great fun!

Other than Halo is there anything else you guys would be interested in?
