Really. You'd get some more detailed, but shanty-town like areas like those in Red Dead in Mexico, thus not having cars and buildings clutter the environment, but also have city areas.

The drug wars going on their would be a great setting for GTA.

Its not too sensitive that people would get upset. I think SA had a lot of racial stereotypes but I think they executed it in a way that didn't come off insulting.

You could maybe lead a gang to control the drug trafficking in Mexico, while there is a greater plot you're unraveling (that probably ties into why it takes place in Mexico)

Anyone else think Mexico would be the best place for GTA to go to next?

The game needs to be either in a state with several different cities like San Andreas, or be set in a country outside the US with several different cities in that country. Basically, it needs the kind of scale and variety in the environment that San Andreas had.

Meh we just had RDR in Mexico.

I would really like it to go back to Miami. Vice City was my favourite GTA on the PS2.
Somewhere a bit more colourful than Liberty City anyhow. Tokyo could be cool. Don't know if R* would do it though.
