Yeah but that game was rare, a good majority of them are cheap.judog1
Yep, i know,i bought a few games 2-3 years ago for $5 each. Sarcastic topic title, lol
That game is literally the rarest game in existence. Could you imagine walking into a thriftstore or garage sale and seeing that cartridge for sale? I'd probably die from a heart attack.

After I woke up from passing out afterfinding that at a yard sale, I would sprain two ankles, twist two knees, and run over numerous pedestrians on the way home to put it up for sale on the internet as fast as possible. :)
does it make me strange that Id consider buying that if I had the cash?
I love collecting games too bad I cant do it to much cuz I dont have the cash for many of them and Im only a lad so I cant get a job to get more money. (well I could get a job but in the economy noone is hiring high schoolers :( )
Not really. It's actually a great investment. Its value will only increase in time and you'll own the rarest video game in existence.does it make me strange that Id consider buying that if I had the cash?

For $50.00 you can get a reproduction of the NWC 1990 cartridge: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=62
More rare is the Nintendo College Championships from 1991 - retrousb also has a reproduction of that cartridge.

Yeah I'm sure the guy who paid the $17k for the 1 cart has the reproduction cart too. I can imagine he wont even play the game. He'll keep it sealed in a plastic case of some sort. and if he even plays NES games, he probably plays the reproduction. Pretty crazy story though! My friends will get a good laugh out of it! and they thing I actually spend alot of $$$ on video games! I probably havent spent a total of $17k on games in my whole life!
In my town, there's a store that sells NES and SNES games for $0.10-$5.00
Even the most hard to find NES and SNES games are under 5 bucks.
If anyone walks in there with a $20, they could get around 50 NES games :)

sounds nice. The stores in my city charge anywhere from $3 to $15 for NES games. Most games are in the $5-7 range. Only yardsales have games for a smokin deal.
