it would be like that fighting game maker that came out a long time ago, but crossed with mortal kombat and played in a 4 player isometric style fight. you create youe own fighter and all his/her moves (including special finishing moves), and you fight up to 4 players at a time in an isometric style gameplay (like power stone or sonic battle). The point of the game is to be the last fighter standing using brutal finishing moves. what do you think?

I think that an isometric Bloody Roar is just what the series needs, but not so much for MK.

what im describing is basically the unreleased game "Thrill Kill (google it)" but with character and move customization and online modes. also if it were a multiconsole thing (including nintendo) that would be sick too.

Well IMO I don't think that this would work for Mortal Kombat simply because most fans of this series are already upset that it has strayed away from its original formula so much and this isn't going to help that at all.

There are such games out there actually. I think that developers nowadays have to add more customization options in their fighting games.

Its a good idea, but people would say its Power Stone crossed with MK so your idea needs something at the center. Think about SF4 they kept the same formula but added that focus attack/cancel move, that was the feature that made it feel fresh and new. That's what you need to figure out, whats the feature that will make the game seem fresh and new

hmm your right. maybe there could be quick time event type kill moves were both players have to tap the buttons as fast as they can. that isnt done very often in games you know (with the most recent example of this being in GOW2 with the chainsaw duels).

Neo-ganon

u do know u can download thrill kill?

btw i think its pretty cool with the 4 players and last one standing wins. but if its last one standing i think there should be a lot more players then.

Thrill Kill was edited, less gorified, and re released as a Wu Tang Clan fighting game for the PS1. Called Wu-Tang: Shaolin style. I never actually played it. something else that might fit your fancy is Def Jam: Fight for NY. This game is up to 4 player fighting game, it's not a traditional fighting game, but is really really fun. Just don't get any other Def Jam game besides Fight for NY, as that one clearly trumps the others. And if you don't like rap, Henry Rollins is in it, and he's awesome. It's not as gory as you have described, but it's pretty brutal at times.

yeah but i just really want to see something along those lines, but with really good character customization. not just for appearance but with moves as well. The ability to make your own brutal finishing moves and using them on your friends wold be the best thing ever. It really makes you feel like you are apart of the game when you make your own fighter, make your own moves, and send him out to brutally slaughter other players fighters.

BTW, when i make the comparison to the MK games, im referring to the brutality of those games.

also if it had sci-fi and fantasy elements, that would be sick too.

Gekido? Just with fatalities. Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is kinda this, but I don't remember if that has versus for even 2 people.
