Four?

Around 170 for me. I complete pretty much every game I buy. I don't get why people buy games and don't complete them before they buy new ones.

He could have gotten an extra egg in Spyro.

Or killed a SECRET MONKEY in one of those monkey games.

about 50+ on the pre PS1 consoles. About 50 on the PS1. Same number on the PS2 while I have like 30-40 games on the PC and 4 on the PS3 seeing it's new.

Take GTA. beaten means you got to the end have seen the credits. Complete means 100% everything that can be done in the game.

Jeebus.... I'd have to go through 3 decades. I've finished plenty. That's about as accurate as can get.

Exactly. For me, as a completionist, there is an important difference.

Current gen consoles/ PC - just 1. Current gen handhelds - 12-15. Every console/ handheld/ PC game before that - under 100, maybe 50-70.

Part of the reason is temporary good deals that you hate to pass up. Or coming across a game that is rare. Or just getting the games as a collection with the intent to play them later. I've never understood why people would have to finish one game before getting more...

Sure, but usually it just leaves people with a bunch of unfinished games.

What's the problem with that? At least you have them that you can play at any time.

Lol. I mean, I guess you can look at the issue either way. For me, I've always gotten games after they've been out for a while and they're cheap. For $20 I could get at least 3 games. Now, I have somewhat of an addiction, lol. I enjoy sitting in my room and looking at all of the games, trying to decide which one to play next.

Not much, about 50, but I'm a kind of perfectionist, I have to complete a game as much as possible before moving on to the next one. (as much as possible = some games are just too boring and they get unplayable after a month or so)

Since you're posting in GS just about all of the answers are going to be along the lines of "way too many to count". If you posted this on a non-gaming forum you might actually get responses with definite numbers in them, but most people here having been playing since at least the mid 90's and thus lost track of how many games they've beaten a long, long time ago.

I myself started playing games back around 1994 or so. God only knows how many games I've beat since then.

That's why something like Backloggery is so great. Well, assuming you still have all of the games.
