I have NBA 2K23 preordered and I might pick up FIFA 23. I need my sports fix. I look forward to PSVR2.
Gotta love PS Premium, I trialed WWE 2K22, liked it, and bought it and I didn’t even need to redownload it.
I usually start shaping a plan during June to know how much a may need during Black Friday and save from there. Right now, it isn't so much new games that I am looking for outside of:
God of War Ragnarok
Pokemon Violet
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R
And I believe one more, but I am strongly forgetting what.
I am aiming for the rest of the Soulsborne games since I have Dark Souls 1&2, Sifu, No More Heroes 3, Spider Man Miles Morales, Ghost of Tsushima, and some of those games that you can buy and download digitally from the 360 and OG Xbox days.
I have too many games in my back catalog, unless there are some insanely good releases in the next few months the only games I might buy are some major titles that are on sale for cheap, generally the AAA stuff that I don't feel deserve full-price status.
Last new game I bought was the MHR expansion Sunbreak, so my wallet is pretty full currently.
I'm not finically investing too much into games right now, and just replaying personal favorites. As I noted in a prior thread a current goal with my player group is to play every generation of Monster Hunter and we are currently in generation 3; playing Portable 3rd.
I've also dived back into Dragon's Dogma on the side. Not shocking to think why, Dark Arisen remains my favorite expansion in all video game history.
As the hype threads show I'll be grabbing more newer games as the year moves-on but overall this year has already been pretty satisfying for me anyhow. What with Sifu and Elden Ring being amazing games, Shredder Revenge and ANNO: Mutationem also being very fun. It's been a good year for video games; well. . for me anyway.
Well.. I'm waiting for my Steam Deck and I want to get both my kids a PS5 and extra internal storage, and we all want a Scuf controller... Also I'm getting my wife some Switch games, and I need a new laptop. Yeah it's looking pretty rough, however, as far as actual new games are concerned before the end of this year, not so much.
